How long before you realize that you don't know ---- about American history?

The shift of Southern "Dixiecrats" (conservative, white Southern Democrats) to the Republican Party was a decades-long realignment sparked by the national Democratic Party's embrace of the Civil Rights movement, cemented by the GOP's "Southern Strategy", and solidified through alignment on social and religious issues.

Cave diving is was of the worst scenarios possible. Right up there with wreck diving. One mistake can kill you. I did some wreck diving once. But never went inside a wreck. I'd never go into a cave. Not without a professional support team. Even then there would have to be a very special reason. Like recovering a history changing artifact or an alien space ship.
