Bodycam Footage of Cops Arresting Tyreek Hill

Police have released bodycam footage of Tyreek Hill's arrest before Sunday's Miami Dolphins game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. You can see Hard Rock Stadium in the background as police unnecessarily take the non-resisting Hill to the ground twice. The second time he pleads with officers "I just had surgery on my knee!" Hill played like the Jags called the cops on him, catching seven passes for 130 yards including an 80-yard touchdown that is the longest of his career.

Makes me wonder how the Latinos and the Blacks get along in Jacksonville, which is a high crime city.

"With a crime rate of 64 per one thousand residents, Jacksonville has one of the highest crime rates in America compared to all communities of all sizes - from the smallest towns to the very largest cities.

One's chance of becoming a victim of either violent or property crime here is one in 16."

This looked like a Crime Unit werking Traffic Control for the Stadium... and not happy about it.

Why?

This has nothing to do with race.

Everything to do with class.

You wouldn't know class if it bit you on the ass. (old Chinese proverb)

Any kind of class, apparently. Or argument... not that either.

Hill's treatment is because the cop saw Black and that made him see red.

It was a minor speeding stop. Hill wasn't being argumentative or belligerent.

He was taken to the ground twice when he wasn't resisting arrest. The second time he was handcuffed before they dragged him to the ground.

Any cop who couldn't handle that situation without escalating it needs to find another profession.

He was driving a McLaren and made 20 million this season.

Ah yes, those rich people who get targeted by the police.

Which stop is next on your nation-wide Tour of Ignorance?

Mr. Hill is lucky to be alive. Were he driving a Camry, he would be todt right about now...

I have been fearful and not trusting the po-leece ever since I became a hippie when I returned to college after the Air Force. In truth and fairness, I got no shaves or haircuts between November 1970 and May 1973. I was letting my FREAK FLAG fly, and it was simultaneously fun and dangerous to interact with the HEAT while hippieing. I entered business graduate school with a neatly trimmed professional-looking haircut.and earned an MBA in a dual emphasis in operations research and industrial labor relations 1975.
