"I oppose federal funding of abortions."
sounds simple to say that you oppose federal funding but it is not so simple.
Opposing federal funding for ensuring the health care rights of women comes with some baggage.
So, I am curious, does that mean you oppose federal funding of family planning and contraception, too?
These are things that prevent more abortions.
Do you also oppose federal funding for health care for women?
Because health care for women sometimes, by it's nature, includes abortions (rape, ------, etc).
And finally, if you oppose federal funding for abortions and or contraception does it follow that you then support the federal funding for raising of all the unwanted children who are born to parents who would have chosen contraception an abortion in their health care but were denied that right? Or should the States that decide to make abortion impossible and who denies that right be made to pay for raising these unwanted children until they are 18?
Do you support allowing states to circumvent the intent of the Law (the Constitution)and make abortions difficult if not impossible to get?
Being pro-Life really just means being pro-Fetus.
You folks are all for getting the federal government involved in the fetus part but could care less about getting involved in the actual Life part.
