Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News

Former NFL star Colin Kaepernick did not look like himself in a fundraising email that was sent by the National Republican Congressional Committee on Wednesday. The message included a picture of Kaepernick that appeared noticeably altered to make his skin darker, an attack ad tactic that has been used before and is considered by many as racist.

But apparently he's NOT dark enough for the purpose of the RNC adverts.

DRama Club Thread of the Day.

99.9% of the people that the RNC is going to send this to know Colin Kaepernick is black and the racists don't care how dark his skin is, they are going to hate him regardless of how "dark" he is.

The only purpose of this article is to cause the mouthbreathers on the Left to hyperventilate...and it looks like it is working.

Carry on.

The RNC is admitting their supporters are racists. Nothing to see here, move along.

I saw both pictures side by side. Everything is darker. I saw the actual e-mail picture of the two of them. Trump looks more orange. My first impression is it's a poor, cheap, print job. If I could find the original Trump picture to compare the two, is the only way to confirm my theory.

"GOP group uses darkened Miami Herald photo of Kaepernick in fundraising email"

Anyone want to tell me this isn't a racist act by the National Republican Congressional Committee?

"First they did it to Obama."

Yes, if the "they" you mean were his opponents in both the primaries and general. The Clinton campaign did it before the McCain campaign did.

I know it's a crazy idea, but maybe political ads darken the images of their opponents in general as SOP. But those looking for selective outrage aren't going to acknowledge that.
