Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News

Pick a state, any state, and sue until it's blue. That is the strategy of former President Barack Obama and his Attorney General Eric Holder when it comes to redistricting. They've spent millions of dollars on their fight to gerrymander Democrats into permanent (or at least long-term) control of the U.S. House of Representatives. And along the way, they've fooled many in the media into believing that they are fighting for "fair maps" while pushing an agenda that puts redistricting into the hands of unelected, unaccountable bureaucrats and life-time appointed, activist judges.

Not surprising .... Obama and Holder were terrible people.

Republicans gerrymander black districts to obstruct the public votes. It's quite clearly a strategy that disenfranchises the people from their desired political representation.

"Unfortunately, there are plenty of activist liberal judges who will enthusiastically toss out constitutionally drawn maps to help elect more Democrats." How stupid are Republicans to think this isn't going to be addressed come 2020? Keep your MAGA blinders on.

I like the summary. You could swap out the Democrats mentioned for their Republican counterparts, and wind up with statements that are quite more valid in their content. It's a typical Republican op-ed, trying to turn a topic on which they deservedly on the defensive into a made-up offensive against the Democrats.

It is, imo, quite the vacuous op-ed because of that.

(it is an op-ed, even though the URL says "news" in it. At least the cited page says "opinion." Funny how the GOP always complains about the "fake news" NYTimes and Washington Post, but those two at lease put the word "opinion," and not "news," in the URLs for their opinion pages.)

Where's all the money coming from? You'd think dem's would solve the homeless crisis with what they're spending on lawsuits.

Here's an idea. come up with policy that Americans can't say 'no' to, and they'll flock to the polls to elect.

And for you, that's Trump.

Obviously, it's impossible to assume you have a functioning brain when you waste your life at a perpetual Trump rally. Life wasted. It's sad.

- And for you, that's Trump.

Just make it up, Bruce. It's easier than debate.
