Interesting...

The Trump Admin now seems to be using an ethnicity test for its interactions with those outside the admin.

I'm not surprised the Trump admin has taken this turn, I am surprised it occurred so soon.

"My ancestors are from Ireland and Italy"

^
Two heavily disfavored groups in America's history of racist immigration policy.
So I guess now it's payback time.

Why isn't this law breaker booted from the "best people" administration yet?

This clearly isn't racism.

Most people like to know the ethnicity of who they're talking with.

She's lucky she's Irish Italian. If she were Irish Scandinavian...

Nice self-own for Kelly:

"As I told her, my own family's ethnic background wasn't relevant, but I'm glad she was able to confirm that President Trump was suggesting that the three American-born congresswomen in question could return to the places their ancestors came from (and Rep. Omar could return to Somalia) if they disagree with his administration's policies," he said.

(and, as if --- couldn't be weirder in this country right now, Conway's husband just wrote an op ed blasting Trump as a racist. "How was your day, honey?" "Oh, the usual. Spent it diametrically opposed to everything you do for a living. You?")

The reporter should have said Sioux.

Kellyanne is one of those emanicipated by Trump's racism. Pun intended.

I'd have told her she needed to learn some manners same as any other Johnny Come Lately.

I'm guessing she was trying to spin Trump's comments to mean that he was actually telling the four Congresswomen to go back to the countries of their race, and was probably going to use the reporter's own race as an example. Just another daily embarrassment from the Trump administration.

How about: Answer the question, you are a government employee and my taxes pay your salary.

Conway is playing a terribly stupid game.

If we start deporting people based on how long they've been here My family will be among the last in America.

What do you call this? Ethnicityism? Can't even pronounce it.

Naw! Racism sounds much better. We're back to Jim Crow days.

Conway is playing a terribly stupid game.

She's playing Trump's game. Probably told to.

Conway is Irish Italian with mob ties.

her family didn't come to America till after 1900.

They start calling for anyone to be viewed as less than American based on ethnicity she's going to find herself among them.

Why do Republicans have to translate what their leaders say to avoid the simple truth that the whole party is infected with racism? If these racist -------- are exceptions then why do you keep electing them and appointing them to lead you?

It would take irish genes to create a hag like Conway.

Along with my wife. Her first ancestor, on her mother's side, to arrive on these shores was Israel Alsworth, in 1654 from Wales. She knows nothing about her birth-father's family except their surname (and she didn't learn that until she was nearly 18).

I'm a Johnny come lately with the first ancestor on my father's side arriving here from the Alsace region of Germany in 1850. On my mother's side, it's even more recent with my grandfather coming (illegally I might add) from Flanders, the Flemish speaking part of Belgium, via Canada just before WWI.

We could be distant cousins! :) My first American ancestor (mother's side) was a French Huguenot, also from Alsace-Lorraine (Germanic part of France), who came over from England to the Jamestown Colony in 1632. His wife's ancestors were Normans who came over to England with William The Conqueror in 1066 (Norse Vikings before Rollo negotiated with France's Charles III for Normandy. Father's side were Swedes who came to America in 1880.

I lived in Harlingen, Tx for quite a long time. I have a good friend whose family can trace themesleves back 15 generations on the same parcel of land. I have listened to him several times recounting stories of idiots who haven't been here for 3 generations yet telling him to get out of "their" country.

Is Kellyanne from Earth?

What the hell is wrong with these people? It's like a disease. Like an autistic "tick". Like Involuntary cursing.

It's involuntary racism.

Next she will be asking women reporters how old they are and if they are still virgins.

So just like Jim Carville and his wife were.
