It is literally going to be the same playbook from 2016. I'd ask if they've learned something, but they clearly haven't.

The new mantra of the 21st century...anytime something is said in anything online, the first response should always be "Racist!" and then continue on with whatever your point is.

Racists deny they are racist after making racist statements.

Films all over the internet.

One of the crucial properties of contemporary racism is its denial,

Here is one of the tweets in question:

"If you're in Washington, D.C., you know the white never go to the SW area, because it's an area for the black & Latin. There's a saying ‘black in & white out', which means that as long as a black family enters, white people will quit, & price of the apartment will fall sharply."

Racist?

The strangest thing I encountered in the Orient was the degree of racism there. Fact: The Japanese are descendants of Koreans. If you point that out to a Japanese they will go ballistic. They consider Koreans an inferior race. The Koreans hate the Japanese, they were occupied for 40 years by the Empire of Japan and it was as nasty as the Nazis occupying Europe, for ten times the duration. Vietnamese have no use for Chinese, Chinese consider the Manchurian savages. Interesting note, if you get lost in Japan you will here the word Gaikoku in a Japanese neighborhood.(foreigner).

"Interesting note, if you get lost in Japan you will here the word Gaikoku in a Japanese neighborhood.(foreigner)."

In China, it was "laowai", or sometimes even "yangguizi" (foreign devil) from older people. I had several Chinese friends try to 'splain to me why foreigners shouldn't take offense at the term "laowai" becauae it allegedly meant "respected foreigner" (lao = old and old is respected in Chinese culture). I always responded with pointing out that the same character "lao" also means "always", and since "wai" means "outside", it means you're calling a person a perpetual outsider, or alien.

And no one ever called me a "laowai" to my face (except one time by accident when a cashier at a restaurant was addressing me, which her manager cringed at and indirectly apologized to me). It was almost always by people talking to others who wrongly assumed I couldn't understand what they were saying. One time a server in a restaurant referred to both me and my Chinese girlfriend as the two laowai. Basically, it's just like how Latin Americans use the word "gringo". At least you find out who your real friends aren't when you overhear that dropped in a conversation.

Re 14&15

Because other countries are racist that does not give you permission to be racists.

Other countries do many things we as Americans do not accept as civil.

The more time that goes by, the more we can see Democrat racism. Seriously, during Obama's years Liberals did everything they could to convince their party and themselves that everyone who didn't agree with Obama was racist. Now they spend all their time doing everything they can to convince their party and themselves that anyone who agrees with Trump is racist.

It's almost as if there isn't anything they can be doing better with their time that is more constructive to fixing the country. We have become a nation where skin color isn't a problem, the people who continuously bring up the fact that people have different skin colors is the problem. An immigrant isn't a skin color, yet Dems resorted straight to racism when Trump said he wants to do something about illegal immigration. Trump wants to figure out a way to deal with Iran in a way that is positive to America, Libs all over and especially a few on DR immediately start making racist comments in a sarcastic manner to try to hide their racism. So far, the number of times the color of someone's skin has ever left Trump's mouth is close to zero, but the number of times Dems bring up skin color is in the tens to hundreds every. single. day. They don't do it in the context of constructive and positive changes. They do it to spread hate and to try to justify that hate.

It's sickening. It keeps racism alive. I guess since Dems fought so hard to keep slavery, their roots are showing.

If you accept the premise that xenophobia and nationalism is racism, then your second statement fits the very definition of racism.

Personally, I would not describe the xenophobic behavior I encountered as 'racist', in the contemporary sense of the word. I do think that it is aligned with the type of behavior that Trump deliberately panders to and stokes.

"I would not describe the xenophobic behavior I encountered as 'racist'"

Of course not.
Then you'd have to call Trump racist.

Are you using the modern definition of racism?
