Vice President Mike Pence said Sunday that President Donald Trump "might make an effort to speak out about it" if audience members at one of his rallies began to chant, "Send her back" like they did last week in North Carolina.

Typical wingnut coward. This is the kind of cowardly consciousness his corrupt religion breeds.

I don't know about you fellows, but he looks evil to me. I can't exactly define it or put my finger on it. He looks like he is hermetically sealed in a plastic sofa cover.

The kind of villain who dunks a single Chips A'hoy into his milk, thoroughly chews it, before sending 50,000 volts through gator clamps into his captive's -------.

Maybe the sign of the cross before the cookie, not sure.

Pence? Courage? The guy's a Trump bobblehead and chief boot licker.

Supposed 'Christian' who stays silent on Trump's hateful rhetoric.

A guy who was going down in defeat for reelection as Indidia governor until the Trump campaign picked him up.

A 'loser.'

"If it happens again, he, he might, he might -- he -- make an effort to speak out about it."

Almost as good as this one, describing and defending Trump just standing there silently while the chant continued:

What's difficult to understand about this? He basically told his people "don't do that." He clearly did not look happy at that rally, because that verbiage was not a part of his strategy. At the same time, he's not going to attack or question the patriotism of his own supporters.

Why Pence didn't run for reelection in Indiana:

Trump flirts with unpopular Pence
07/12/2016

In his single term as governor of Indiana, Mike Pence has slashed taxes, enacted conservative health care reforms, tightened abortion restrictions and boasted deep support among the lucrative political network of Charles and David Koch.

Even so, there are plenty of Republicans in his home state who would be glad to see him abandon his re-election campaign to serve as Donald Trump's running mate.

A firestorm around a 2015 law known as the Religious Freedom Restoration Act placed the state center stage in the culture wars, leading to intense backlash from the business community. The Indiana Chamber of Commerce called the law "a tremendous hit" to Indiana's "national identity as a welcoming and hospitable state," and Pence delivered a memorably bad performance on ABC's "This Week," in which he declined to answer whether or not it should be legal to discriminate against gays and lesbians.

He was also embarrassed by -- and forced to abandon -- a plan to create a state-run news service, an idea that drew national ridicule. All of it took place against the backdrop of rumblings that Pence had ambitions of his own for the Oval Office.

Pence's job approval rating is underwater at 40 percent, according to a May poll, and even among Republicans only six-in-10 supported his re-election.

As far as the headline, if Bruce can win an award for courage, your headline is actually not as sarcastic as you try to make it. Always make sure your own dirty laundry is put in order before trying to use sarcasm (just a piece of advice from someone who refuses to watch sarcasm be abused and used incorrectly).

he, he might, he might -- he -- make an effort to speak out about it.

In other words, he'll say something like "the fake news media won't like it if i don't say something here; so, ‘dont say that' fingers crossed wink wink." He's like a 9 year old kid giving a fake apology.

Pence hides behind his bible because it gives him power.

If being a satanist would be as profitable as a faux christian, he would be a satanist in a heartbeat.

For what it's worth, Nixon, I think there are many others who adopt the mantle of "faith" for power or access to some kind of benefit.

You know, I've noticed the guys who "won't see another women alone" are usually the same guys who are either (a) cheating behind closed doors with a mistress or (b) actually closeted gays.

It just acts as a good cover.

I agree. It's not that a policy to minimize situations to be alone with women is bad...it's that he's been so vocal about it.

Similar to people who believe strongly in their faith....that's fine...but to be so vocal about it.

It's as if they really are concealing something.
