Wonder if he'll be able to get along with Emmanuel Jean-Michel Frédéric Macron?

... (born 19 June 1964) ...

Born in New York City to wealthy upper-middle class British parents. ( en.wikipedia.org )

So... he was an immigrant to England, brought as a child by his parents?

Will Pres Trump tell him to go back to where he was born?

;)

Trump exonerated again!

Putin recently said, "Western Liberalism had become obsolete."

Based on the fate of the world we currently live in, I'd say he wasn't being metaphoric. He was being literal.

Russia may have stumbled, when the Soviet Union collapsed. But they sure didn't lose the Cold War, they figured out how to play the game better than we do.

If he also starts insulting America, Trump probably will.

@#6 ... If he also starts insulting America, Trump probably will. ...

So, if PM Johnson starts insulting America, Pres Trump will tell him to come back to America?

All Johnson has to do is implement Brexit, which should have already been done, but wasn't thanks to the bumbling Theresa May.

Actually it's incredibly complicated.

But... it's like a bandage you gotta pull off quick. There is some pain, but it does goes away... instead of dragging this on for years... the way EU does things.

Ol Boris says he can do it by Halloween.

We'll see...

No question British voters want out ASAP.

No doubt Brits will regret it in a year or two.

Not quite true.

What the UK voters want is an end to the Brexit saga asap. This is not the same was wanting out of the EU, particularly at any price, which is what Johnson has offered up. The most current polls indicate that voter sentiment favors staying in the EU and have been trending that way for some time.

What Americans tend to miss with Brexit is that it is not a situation comparable to electing Trump. However you feel about Trump, he will be gone in either 2 or 6 years. The decision to leave the EU is forever - or might as well be for the existing UK population - and the pain associated with getting it wrong will not "go away", it will "drag on" for many years. The UK population will not be pain free, they will simply have to get used to living with it.

I feel so bad for the people of the UK.

They have their own Mr. Toad now.

And they are in for a wild Mr Toad ride, too.

Where do you get this crap from?

If they voted today that would not be the result.
