CNN's Victor Blackwell teared up while reporting on President Trump's use of the word "infested" to describe Rep. Elijah Cummings' Maryland district, where the anchor and correspondent is from, on Saturday.

This is why know-nothing right-wing doofuses get to act righteous and superior when voting for unfit douchebags like Donald Trump -- they see Democrats and liberals looking fragile and weak over things that have little affect, or are outright meaningless, with regular Americans who are getting economically squeezed.

If Democrats are going to win in 2020, they need to get tough -- keep it simple, call Trump a demagogue who is dividing Americans against one another.

Democrats and liberals need to understand leverage and power -- like FDR having Sewell Avery forcibly arrested by U.S. Army MPs in 1944 for his unpatriotic obstinance to supporting America's WWII war effort.

Crying on TV over a tweet from douchebag Trump? Man, this just pisses me off. Call Trump a racist POS and a demagogue and keep moving.

And don't forget to call Trump a traitor, too.

If I was the Baltimore mayor, Bernard Young, I would enlisting support from the Baltimore Chamber of Commerce in launching an aggressive
promotional campaign to highlight Baltimore's business opportunities and tourism ...

Money talks -- in any American city, even a pro-business and traditional pro-Republican chamber of commerce would welcome and support any effort to attracting business and tourist dollars.

This would be the right answer to Trump's BS.

You're the hypocrite by virtue of your support for a traitor president and for right-wing activist judges.

I served in America's armed forces to uphold the Constitution, did you? No.

Go sail your boat to Vladivostock or North Sentinel Island -- take your pick, don't come back.

This is a video from Baltimore.

Consider the identities in it.

1. Muslim.
2. Cop.
3. AfricanAmerican youth....

If this was a video of white youth doing this to a Muslim, you think we might a heard about it.

Liberals don't care because it goes their against the narratives.

If I was the Baltimore mayor, Bernard Young, I would enlisting support from the Baltimore Chamber of Commerce in launching an aggressive
promotional campaign to highlight Baltimore's business opportunities and tourism ...

And we would laugh ...

This would be the right answer to Trump's BS.

No, fixing the crime issue is the right answer.

Then business and tourist will come without "advertising"; it can be a beautiful town, but stumble into the wrong neighborhood ....

You're reaction to my comment just shows what a hopeless right-wing hack you are.

Go tell all the Baltimore-based corporate CEOs responsible for the bottom-line of their hotels, restaurants, sports franchises, tourist destinations, etc. ... that an effort to counter-act Trump's public castigation of their business interests is funny.

But I get it -- you're dumb-ass personal politics is more important to you, and your imaginary on-line friends, then anything else.

It's well known at this point that just under 30 percent of Americans ages 17 to 24 ― the prime age to join the Army ― aren't eligible to join.

But beyond that, almost a third of those who sit down with a recruiter to take the first steps are immediately disqualified.

Why? Because of their weight.

A freshly published study, "Unhealthy and Unprepared" concludes that America's rising numbers of overweight youth are going to have real impacts on the military's ability to maintain effectiveness.

"Anyone who took the walk that we took around this neighborhood would not think you're in a wealthy nation," Sanders told reporters later at the Freddie Gray Empowerment Center in Bolton Hill. "You would think that you were in a Third World country."

"But today what we're talking about is a community in which half of the people don't have jobs," he said. "We're talking about a community in which there are hundreds of buildings that are uninhabitable."

Sanders tells supporters at a rally in Maryland that Baltimore's poverty conditions rival those in North Korea and "the West Bank in Palestine."

"People don't know this," he says. "If you are born in Baltimore's poorest neighborhoods, your life expectancy is almost twenty years shorter than if you are born in a wealthier neighborhood."

"Fifteen neighborhoods in Baltimore have lower life expectancies than North Korea," he adds. "Two [neighborhoods] have a higher infant mortality rate than the West Bank in Palestine ... Baltimore teenagers between the ages of fifteen and nineteen face poorer health conditions and a worse economic outlook than those in distressed cities in Nigeria, India, China and South Africa."

"Liberal outrage level at Bernie Sanders' comments comparing Baltimore to a third world?"

Did Sanders tell elected representatives from Baltimore they should go back to Baltimore instead of using the Federal Government to try to fix their problems?

Or did Sanders tell the people of Baltimore that as President he will use the power of the Federal Government to help fix their problems?

Amen! Unfortunately, the discussion by the pundits focused on Trump's racism rather on the problem that he highlighted: the deplorable state of living conditions in our urban centers populated by poor black and brown people. By ignoring those conditions, the status quo is maintained; as if it is ok for poor black and brown people to live in those conditions.

I have long felt that the CBC is worthless. They are to content to stay in their lane i.e. civil rights. However, when it comes to promoting and advocating for profound change that would positively affect their constituents, change that would cost serious money, they are in the shadows. It would be interesting for some enterprising journalist to publish how the networth of CBC members have fared during their time in congress.

I think Donald Trump is a lying POS but I am glad that he has highlighted this issue: what black representatives have/have not done for their black constituents.

Why doesn't he highlight this issue: what white representatives have not done for their white constituents? Look at lily white district 5 in Kentucky where the population is 96.82% white (whitest in the nation), No democrat has won since 1964 (hmm what happened in 1964), Trump got 80% of the vote in 2016, and the median household income is a whopping $31,731 (Cummings district median is $58,071)

Honestly Baltimore should embarrass the Democrat Party, they have run the city for several decades. But generally the Democrats collect their votes and are promptly forgot about. It would be excusable if Baltimore was alone, but Democrat machine rule has the same outcome every where it operates. The longer it exists, the worse the conditions get.
