Headline should've read - Biden: "poor kids just as bright as white kids"

"He made a mistake, "

Probably. I'm sure he didn't mean to say it. But I do believe in Freudian slips.

On your other point, I'm pretty sure Trump's parents were married. Why would it matter to upi of they weren't, anyway?

Biden's racism is so deeply ingrained, he doesn't even realize it - Corky has Slate and Vox articles to prove it..

But he's a more statesmanlike racist, a Gentleman racist. so, no foul really. "oops" it's okay Joe.

You can still sniff TruthHurts hair.

How many Leftists will see the headline and think: "Yeah, more proof that Trump is a racist! We can soak this one until the election! Hope he said it on video"

CNN: Shocking video of racist Trump! Jim Acosta reporting!

I can't find it now, but I remember there was a quote where a now former President said something along the lines of black people like watch TV at night, just like ordinary people.

"But I do believe in Freudian slips."

What does it imply, though? It seems that the assumption is that most non-white kids are from economically poor backgrounds. Which is statistically untrue, unless one is stretching the definition of poor.

At least it's a different tactic than HRC took in the last election, pandering to and touting upper middle class POCs.

Couldn't be that a misleading headline and no summary are setting people up. Right?

Regardless. I hope this sinks Biden.

Oprah has no interest in being president though she could easily defeat Trump or any other inbred moron.

I wouldn't be so quick to count Oprah out.

Trump may be president.

But, Oprah has the support of the nation.

Also, I'd put my money on Oprah winning a fist fight between her and Trump.

I'm glad you didn't add "objective" to your list of adjectives.

#18 | Posted by goatman at 2019-08-09 10:12 AM | Reply

I should have.

Trump is an objectively horrible person.

Most wouldn't stomach his regular presence and behavior in their personal lives but are willing to support him as POTUS because they get something from him. Just a few crumbs for the majority.

"Most wouldn't stomach his regular presence and behavior ..."

MOst? You depend heavily on argumentum ad populum.

AnYWAY, i AGREE. i can't stand his personality either. But unlike TDS sufferers, I can remain objective and admit when he has done good.

#20 | Posted by goatman at 2019-08-09 10:17 AM | Reply

Yawn.

It's not an argument ad populum. It's pointing out the disparity of standards people have, or don't have, when it comes to Trump. If you didn't see that then you either need more coffee or somebody to explain my posts to you.

As for doing good I'll call it when I see it. So far all I see is bad and credit taken for good things that he didn't do.

Unless you have some examples of good things he did you would like to share with the class?

LOL it would be if I was saying dislike him because everybody else does.

I pointed out that his behaviors and history would make him a pariah if he was a small town nobody because nobody likes an incessantly lying conman.

But since he's POTUS and people think they're benefiting from him they look the other way.

It's allowing one's selfishness to overrule their integrity and standards.

#24 | Posted by jpw at 2019-08-09 10:29 AM | Reply

#24, Bi citation to back up your claim. Got it. TDS induced speculation,

#25 | Posted by goatman at 2019-08-09 10:30 AM | Reply

LOL you really need a citation that liars, thieves and bullies aren't generally liked by normal individuals.

Piss off if that's all you've got to bring to the table.

Fun fact about Boaz.

He throws out half the socks from every pack he buys.

He's convinced the left socks are liberals, and he won't abide any liberals socks on his feet!

Saw the whole video. At least Biden caught and corrected himself right away.

It's hilarious watching both sides go into faux outrage mode when the guy on the other side makes a petty gaffe.

Probably the same reason the headline with "Trump is a Dotard ---" was never corrected on the front page.

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Joe Biden has apologized for his recent seemingly racist comment, where he said that poor kids are sometimes as smart as white kids.

"Everyone who knows me knows I'm not a racist," said Biden. "I even have a black friend, Barry. Smart, articulate guy."

Aides were then seen signaling him to stop talking, but Biden pushed on.

"Rest assured," Biden said. "I like all races, even the bad ones."

Aides threw up their hands in exasperation.

"What? What'd I say?"

Media immediately jumped all over Biden's comments, responding to his horrifying gaffe by calling on President Trump to resign.

#37 | Posted by nullifidian at 2019-08-11 01:20 PM | Reply
