ASTONISHING photos show how a man was wedged between mountain rocks in the Cambodian jungle for four days before being rescued. Cops said Sum Bora, 28, slipped into the tiny crevice on Sunday while trying to retrieve his flashlight, which had fallen in the small rocky hollow.

The man had been collecting bat droppings

WTF???

Bat droppings, or guano, is used as fertilizer and sold for supplementary income by poor farmers, who sometimes try to attract bats to their property.

Oh.. OK... but still WTF?

Cambodia is one of the poorest countries in the world

No wonder he went after a bloody torch... cheap bastard. LOL

""Cops said Sum Bora, 28, slipped into the tiny crevice "

That's always the excuse when they get caught.

I remember some years ago here in Las Cruces a local 18 year college student was out climbing the Organ mountains just east of here with friends. They were climbing one of the sheer granite faces and this kid slipped and tragically plunged to his death. When the first responders showed up they didn't know what to do. The kid's body was in a rugged inaccessible place. The state police couldn't get in nor the border patrol. The authorities were baffled on how to retrieve the remains of this poor kid. It went on for like a week. Finally a local group of retired Green Berets came forward and volunteered to help. They repelled down in there and got the kid out. So cool I thought
Real heroes.

When I saw the headline I was thinking "electrician" and some guy named "Mountain". Now, not so much.

You can attract bats cheaply?

Sure. You can do it for free.

All you have to do is turn your place into hell on earth full of flying insects.
