Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Friday, August 09, 2019

The Trump administration has known since at least April that alleged white supremacists were responsible for every single act of race-based domestic terrorism in the U.S. in 2018, yet not only took no action to combat the growing right wing violent extremism, but actually substantially reduced or even eliminated funding and programs that combat white supremacist extremism, violence, and terrorism – and then blocked the data from reaching the hands of Congress.

Gotta hide the facts to protect the 'Base'.

Agenda first, then fix the facts around the agenda.

Republican strategery.

It is interesting how modern white supremacism has morphed into an American form of Zionism. Even though many white supremacists of the past were distinctly anti-Jewish, a fair portion of today's white supremacist movement sees an particular affinity between themselves and the Zionists of Israel, with right wing ideologues such as Michael Savage, Mark Levin and others espousing support for each.

Why not? He had a green light from Trump and his DOJ; a lack of any interest in any effort to "combat the growing right wing violent extremism".

But hey, even on these pages Trump has not only his voter base, but those trolls who are more interested in demeaning efforts to stave off Trump's actions by the public and by the only other effective political party.

Which is pretty much the common modus operandi of all attention trolls.

Only to indicate that the amount of hysteria has increased, considering it's politically advantageous. Do you have a statistical year to year study to present on hate crimes? But let me ask you this,

Do you believe there are more or less white perpetrated hate crimes against minorities than during the civil rights era?

Do you have a comparative study of white on minority vs. minority on minority, vs. minority on white crimes?

Dear Sheep,

This reports the facts during 2018, in the middle of the orange sloth's regime. It strongly suggests that Trump rhetoric has triggered right wing violence. It wasn't born with Trump, but he has amplified it, because it was barely noticable under Obama or even the Shrub. All your other questions are lame distractions.

MSM does more to amplify, exaggerate, spin, interpret, theorize, take out of context, loop soundbites, extrapolate, and expound upon their own analysis. Every tweet and word from Trump is dissected breathlessly, exposited and presented as exigesis by political theologians. Their motive is their own seething hatred for the guy, and their petty attempts to smear, humiliate, and best him.

The media was baited and has sunk lower than Trump.

The same is true for Retorters. Just look at the bitterness that's taken hold of rational peoples thoughts. This place is unhinged.

The "problem" of terrorism, transcends the Presidency of Trump

The USA has repeatedly empowered extremists who have filled the vacuums of failed states the USA created. Washington's fueling of these conflicts was directly responsible for the rise of figures such as Ayman al-Zawahiri and Osama bin Laden and ultimately laid the groundwork for the 9/11 attacks.

The misguided interventions by the national security apparatus have resulted in hundreds of thousands of deaths, over 5 million desperate refugees fleeing to Europe, the destruction of entire cities, the squandering of some $5 trillion of U.S. taxpayer money, rampant corruption and criminality.

The architects of this imperial folly have a symbiotic relationship with those they profess to hate. The two radical extremes, the national security apparatus and the radical jihadists, play off of each other to justify ever-greater acts of savagery. The enemies of the United States will never be destroyed, they are too useful to be allowed to disappear. Our fascist State thrives on fear.

FBI's Wray says most domestic terrorism arrests this year involve white supremacy
thehill.com

#53 | Posted by snoofy at 2019-08-11 05:24 PM | Reply

"FBI Director Christopher Wray said Tuesday that the agency has made about 100 domestic terrorism-related arrests since October, and the majority were tied to white supremacy."

100 arrests. That's a lot.

""I will say that a majority of the domestic terrorism cases that we've investigated are motivated by some version of what you might call white supremacist violence, but it does include other things as well,""

Other things?

"Wray distinguished between what he termed homegrown violent extremism, wording he said the FBI uses to refer to people in United States who are inspired by global jihadists, and domestic extremism, which Wray described as broader to include racially motivated extremists, anarchists and others."

Jihadists? Anarchists?

"The number of domestic terrorism arrests are on par with the amount international terrorism cases, according to Wray."

On par with. Hmm.

""In terms of number of arrests, we have through the third quarter of this fiscal year had about give or take 100 arrests on the international terrorism side, which includes the homegrown violent extremism," Wray told Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) at the hearing. "We've also had just about the same number -- again, don't quote me to the exact digit -- on the domestic terrorism side.""

!00 domestic terrorism arrests and about the same involving "international" terrorism.

Question. Why haven't you expressed your concern over the international terrorism events, since they are about equal in number?

Racism?
