Paul Hardesty didn't pay much attention to President Donald Trump's campaign rally in Greenville, N.C., last month until a third concerned constituent rang his cellphone.

A few may be expressing a concern.

But how many would dare to vote for someone else when Christian leaders have wholeheartedly embraced all that is Pres Trump?

Evangelicals have what's called "Selective Morality."

When Bill Clinton, a Democrat, was President they were outraged that a person of such 'low character' occupied the White House.

Suddenly 'low character' doesn't seem to matter so much as long as Trump is doing everything he can to deny women the right to choose.

So yeah ~ it's pure hypocrisy.

Everyone on earth is guilty of selective morality.

Severity matters. Repubs whole argument for voting for them was they were going to be the family values party and the fiscally responsible party. Those are now both out the window. Repubs' only remaining defense is "well dems aren't perfect so they can't complain about repubs being horrible. A 90% evil party is exactly the same as a 20% evil party because they're both not perfect."

All? Elizabeth Warren, Andrew Yang, Tulsi Gabbard, and a few others aren't.

Buttigieg is pretty conservative, although, a bit too openly homosexual for America.

I'd say you need to learn more about Bernie, perhaps watch the Joe Rogan interview with him if you want to learn what Bernie stands for instead of having someone else inform you of what you should know.

Either way. With 20 candidates running for nomination, you're not satisfied with any of them.

Perhaps the problem isn't the Democratic candidates.

Perhaps you're in favor of four more years of Trump.

Perhaps you'll be voting 3rd party.

"if you're not perfect, you can't say the other side is horrible"

Tattoo this backwards on your forehead so you can read it in the mirror:
TYRANNY IS THE DELIBERATE REMOVAL OF NUANCE.

www.goodreads.com

All your arguments rely on removing nuance, so there's no difference between a politician who tells one lie and a politician who can never tell the truth. No difference between a guy who drives a motorscooter or a charles koch who makes the whole world burn more oil than it needs to.

Can't say I blame you. WHATABOUTISM works wonders on morons. That's why the soviets used it with such success. Sad that it works on americans now too.

LOL. I can play that hypothetical Krauthammer-esque question game too: if Hillary was elected and ended up starting World War III, would you have wished you and everyone else that voted for Hillary would have voted for Trump?

I hate Trump. I hate Hillary. I probably hate Trump more now because he won and Hillary didn't, although it is extremely likely that if Hillary won I'd hate her more than Trump. Hillary was the worst choice the Dems could have made back in '16. I knew this beforehand and I knew it afterwards, and I am only an immobile, mostly hollow vegetable with a bunch of seeds for brains. How come everyone else couldn't have figured this out?

The same question could be asked of Captain Edward Smith and Co. when they decided to go full speed ahead through a known iceberg field one chilly April night 107 years ago, thinking their little metal canoe was unsinkable. Hindsight is 20/20 and therefore only for asses, but that's a whole different argument...
