Former Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper, who dropped out of the Democratic presidential primary race one week ago, announced Thursday that he will challenge Republican Sen. Cory Gardner in 2020.

37% approval isn't going to get Gardner reelected. Hickenlooper has a real shot at flipping CO.

Meanwhile, Jay Inslee dropped out. I guess his obsession with an alleged "climate emergency" impressed no one.

Hickenlooper is a popular figure in Colorado, which has turned blue.

I doubt Gardner will be reelected as unpopular as he is.
