Debt, deficits and spending.

Our revenue problem is much worse than our spending problem. Military spending needs to be cut. But I can think of a few places where spending needs to increase significantly.

No, I don't think so but there may be a moderate that Democrats are willing to support. Let's be real for a minute. Trump is obviously a brain dead clown. We all see that from his tweets. He has no place in world leadership and I'm not taking up for the last couple either. I'm simply saying a more moderate may unite the voters more than Donald Trump. Question: would you agree that we need prison reform?

If the answer is 'yes', then someone needs to push the envelope in that direction if it's ever going to get done in the first place.

Too me, that's what Bernie is doing.

And last time I checked, prison reform has majorities of Americans supporting it -- while the singular issue of felons who are serving time being able to vote, may not.

For me, felons voting from jail doesn't bother me.

In '16 when the primary got to Michigan I voted for Ted Cruz. I didn't vote for him because I liked him over all of the other candidates (I preferred Kasich or Rubio to Cruz). I voted for him because by the time the primary got to Michigan he was the only candidate left who had a chance of beating Trump. In 2020 if Trump has a viable challenger by the time Michigan gets to vote, I'll gladly vote for said challenger. If Trump's challengers have no chance I will vote in the Democrat primary instead. Michigan is an open-primary state, but you can only vote in 1 primary.
