Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Wednesday, September 11, 2019

For democracy activists in Russia, the real victory this week isn't that Vladimir Putin's party performed so poorly in Sunday's Moscow city council election. That's just a consequence of a far more important change in the country: the shattering of a feeling of helplessness in the face of the government's authority.

Vladimir Putin's star is fading

You do not want that.

You have no idea who is waiting next in line. You'll wish you supported Putin with all you had.

If the person who I think is next becomes President, America is going to wake up to a nightmare that will make the Cold War look like a bedtime story.

Good luck USA. You'll need it.

I am getting out the popcorn.....

I give it a week before Vlad sends out his polonium milkshakes to his political enemies.
It may even happen sooner than that. Dictators don't like losing power, and will do anything to maintain it.

Fortunately for Vlad, he has the support of the Republican Party in the United States. If things get too bad there in Russia he can move to the U.S. and run for the Senate to replace MoscowMitch.

#2 Polonium is so 2012. Novichok is his new fave.

We can't allow that to happen. I mean, who would the McCarthy ver 2.0 screechers plame everything on?

Sorry Mr putskin that the Muleman expose /fiasco didn't do much to polish your red star.
Looks like Trump will win again so the future don't look so bright for you.

The prestige media and establishment Democrats screwed America up with all that ...

However, Trump is still Putin's #1 fanboy for all the world to see, which still makes Trump Putin's bitch.

- which still makes Trump Putin's bitch.

Which still makes Republicans Trump's bitches.

All of them.

Putin will still be running Russia long after he's put one of his stooges in that office.

Like he did when Medvedev was president?

The gist of the article is that a younger generation are beginning to vote and make their voices heard. That they're tired of authoritarian government, political parties being excluded from elections, and figures like Putin.

Votes in an Orwellian Russia are manufactured from fear and the illusion of choice. The younger generation's promise, I fear, may end up mostly in Siberian work camp/death camps.

No sir... *I* am not worried.

But I have said too much.

All I can do is send you thoughts and prayers. Maybe they will stick this time.
