Former White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci thinks China is actually hoping for a Trump win in the 2020 presidential. "You have an orange rag doll, Donald J. Trump, and you have a Doberman pinscher, China, shaking the rag doll," Scaramucci said on Yahoo Finance's On the Move.

"He is disrupting the global alliance and bringing down the international trading system. And he is hurting our hard and soft power and our standing," Scaramucci said. "Literally, the way he acts is a full-blown embarrassment on the global stage. He's stumbling and bumbling along. The Chinese is laughing. This guy's burying the U.S."

The enemies of America already come here, yes. We all know a few.

As to the theme of this thread---Yes, I'm sure any enemy of the United States would prefer to have Trump. His combination of ignorance, sloth, greed, and vanity comes around maybe once each century.

Everyone knows who Donald is by now. Everyone knows how he operates. Those who support him have such understanding. Those who support him want to see this country burn.

Why do they want to see the USA burn? For the same reason that incels cheer killing women.

Is the country burning now, Zed? Who's lighting the fires?

Or are you predicting the Democrats response to yet another loss?

Of interest is how many members of the Far Right state that they have an urge "to destroy beautiful things".

These four years of Trump are going to analyzed and dissected for decades. Just like Germany in the 1930s, why did so many people choose to just fall in line?

#10 | Posted by Zed at 2019-09-15 10:19 AM | Reply

Some of the reasons are banal and obvious. The attraction to power in a troop of primates is enormous. People find it more advantageous to be apes than, well, people.

Other reasons are deeply psychological. Why is The Joker so powerful as a cultural image these days?

Look at poor Vice President Pence. How humiliating. What man with any pride subjects himself to such treatment? The answer? Pence doesn't have any pride and he no longer sees himself as a man the way Americans traditionally are supposed to. His behavior and attitude is the model for millions.

I look at Donald Trump and wonder how some people could admire such a cabbage. How could you identify with such a loud-sounding vegetable? You look to the vegetable to get you good things? Most people look at vegetables and consider their next meal. Trump is on the menu with more than one enemy of America.

I'm looking forward to seeing the new Joker movie. I imagine that the comparisons to Donald Trump and Trumpism will be plentiful, because they are natural and unavoidable.

Bobble Head.

He recently claimed he was bitten hard enough by Triple Crown winner Pharoah during a 2018 visit to KY to 'nearly collapse.

No one else who was there saw it happen. On Friday at a policy retreat for House Republicans in Baltimore, Pence claimed he was bitten so hard on the arm by American Pharoah that he nearly collapsed.

Pence claims a prized racehorse bit him. The farm manager who was there isn't buying it.

Vice President Pence got laughs Friday as he told House Republicans that the champion racing horse American Pharoah once bit his arm so hard he "almost collapsed."

"I just gritted my teeth and smiled," Pence said at a Baltimore policy retreat, recalling a visit last year to the Kentucky farm where he met the famed Triple Crown winner. "Because you know what, in our line of work, you're gonna get bit sometimes, but you keep fighting forward."

The story drew cheers from the audience " but confusion from the farm manager who was by Pence's side for the encounter some billed as "VP Meets AP."

"If he gave someone a nasty bite, I'd know it," Dermot Ryan, the America manager for the racehorse-breeding company Coolmore, told the McClatchy news group.
