Voters aren't convinced that more women political leaders are the way to go, perhaps in part because most think men and women have more common interests than not.

Will men vote for a women? They do so regularly. Will women vote for a man, that is common. It depends on what they are running for. Platforms and policy are more important than gender. In my experience many women are more a "man" at fifty than most men are at thirty. I have worked for a lot of women. Women can be tough.

Aren't the Pubs the "Traditional Values" party? What's a more traditional value than women knowing their place? Anything else is hypocritical.

Voting for a candidate based on gender is achiac, dumb and ridiculous.

#3 It's almost like voting for a candidate based on race or religion.

From my experience, most people's most terrible manager experience has been with a female manager - that applies for both men and women. I think that play into their thought process when voting.

Interesting theory but I don't know how true it is. Just off hand my worst was definitely a man - top 4 worst are all men actually. Top 3 best are women.

Women haven't given anyone any reason to believe there would be any difference at all. That's the problem. From all the women I see in politics and have seen in the last 30 years, they have offered NOTHING new and different. They have only become just like the men they claim have ruined everything. And it can't be blamed on men and the current system because many big time decisions made by prominent women have not needed any buy-in or oversight from men.

For myself, I have never had a problem with a female manager. The problems I have seen is when a female is managing another female, along with other males.

Could be the culture ... or something else. ..

I vote for the platform.

The person is important only to the extent they can successfully carry out the political agenda espoused in the platform, and whatever personal agenda they have, which should be secondary to the party platform.

Overly woke lefties who scream "ITS A WOMANS TURN!" only make things harder for the left.

The response is "Like who? Sarah Palin? Jan Brewer? Sarah Huckabee Sanders? Kellyanne Conway? Olympia Snow? Ivanka Trump?" Women are capable of being every big as horrible as men. And pretending their -------- make them ethically or intellectually superior is a fallacy which only drives more men to support macho morons like trump.

Too bad you can't shut them up, then.

Serious question:
Do you think if you keep telling them how Deplorable they are, they are gonna see it yout way?

I just cannot imagine any intelligent woman voting for Trump. His disdain for women is mind-blowing in this day and age. On the other hand, I can understand why stupid or low self esteem women would for him. Because they are stupid and/or have low esteem.

Or maybe like millions of others, they couldn't stand the conniving, dishonest, lying, and unethical Hillary.

Hillary is the reason Trump won. Pelosi is the reason Trump is winning.

Just an observation, Women treat each other poorly. The myth of sisterhood is just that, a myth.

Don't be so condescending. Women who voted for Trump are just as capable of exercising their vote as women who voted for Clinton. Nobody walked into the booth with them and forced their hands when they casted their ballots. You don't need to come up with some excuse removing responsibility for them.

Excellent point. Totally agree on everything you said. Also, a political candidate may believe personally in capital punishment but understands that his constituents have the opposite view and adjusts his platform accordingly.

"Hillary is the reason Trump won."

LOL

Trump trounced the entire GOP and goes on to win the election, and he can't get any credit for it.

He's like the Rodney Dangerfield of Presidents.

""Hillary is the reason Trump won."

Exactly. Any idiot should have been able to beat him. Biden probably would have if the DNC had not been so fixated on Hillary.

It would be like putting up a Ford Pinto in a race against a Taurus instead of the Mustang, then not acknowledging it was the Ford Pinto that lost, not that the Taurus had won.

It's sad the democrats couldn't find someone out of tens of million other democrats that could beat Trump. Says a lot about the party.

You're right -- he doesn't deserve any credit. He's an egomaniacle, self absorbed buffoon. Beating him should have been a no brainer

This has nothing to do with the Democrat's inability to find someone who could beat a buffoon like Trump,, but you are right. At least there are a few people smart enough to try to break the endless R and D cycle so many idiots are caught in. Who wants to be an mindless "Thank you sir, may I have another" voter?

Not I
