"We uncorked a tiny bottle of champagne ... took one gulp each and looked into each other's eyes ....

And then they kissed.

I becomes clearer by the day, Republicans are traitors to their own country.

Pres Trump asked Pres Putin if Russia interfered in the 2016 elections, and Pres Putin said that they didn't. So this report by the Republican-led Senate Intelligence Committee must not be correct.

Liberals do everything they can to open our borders to foreign influence and bring in people to get their votes and they are happy with that. But when foreign parties do anything that helps the Cons, all of a sudden it's a bad thing. What Russia did is absolutely no different than what Dems are doing by playing border voting games. The fact your hate blinds you to your own flaws doesn't mean those flaws are unnoticed by everyone else. It's sad that even a gay Liberal can come out and say not hate everyone who thinks differently than you and gets blasted for it just shows where the real hate comes from in politics.

There is nothing illegal about wanting a more liberal immigration policy. Understanding that US foreign policy especially the drug war and now climate change are creating havoc in parts of our sphere of influence is just being realistic. Knowing that our policies are creating refugees and wanting to help those displaced by our policies is simply empathetic. Recognizing that there are plenty of unfilled jobs in this country for unskilled labor makes the choice to pursue a more liberal border policy easy. Besides it would take at least five years for that to pay any sort of electoral benefit because contrary to what Dolt45 claims, "illegals" do not vote and actually Latino naturalized citizens vote at lower levels than other segments of society. If the GOP weren't so racist and xenophobic many of these Latinos would vote for your party. Latinos tend to share some basic philosophies with the GOP not the least of which is strong religious views which tend to oppose abortion.

On the other side, what Trump is doing is patently illegal, clearly spelled out in US election law. So no, the two are nothing alike.

But IIRC, a reporter asked Putin if he had wanted Trump to win and did he help and he answered "yes".
