Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News

Wisconsin state Republicans lump a reasonable accommodation request from a paraplegic Democratic representative with a host of other power grabs rather than voting on the request as a separate item. Despite a powerful and honest speech from Rep. Jimmy Anderson, Republicans again prove they have no shame when it comes to basic human decency, particularly when they can take away even more power from a minority Democratic caucus.

Just hold a key or two down and let it repeat and this would be indistinguishable from a Laura mohr post.

It's really a shame how low you've sunk.

So I would assume there are rules you must adhere to when you run for office like being able to attend votes? If you could simply call in I would assume everyone would want to do it? Sorry that the guy is where he is and needs the help that he does and give him all the credit in the world for holding this office but the building is ADA accessable so that people like him can have equal access, if he can't make the meetings and votes for other reasons than maybe he shouldn't hold the office.

But not the same part who made fun of Dan Crenshaw for having one eye (lost the other as a SEAL to an IUD) or called him racist as Omar did.

Or the same party that mocked governor Abbot for being in a wheelchair.

the building is accessible but the republicans are scheduling meetings off hours with 15 minute notice. phone access is not too much to ask. I'll donate the speakerphone if the republicans think we cant afford it.
