Seems like the meeting was a chance for Trump to insult people:

FTA:

In the meeting itself, it came out that Trump called former secretary of defense Jim Mattis "the world's most overrated general". Pelosi hit back hard at Trump, telling him that "all roads with you lead to Putin".

Only an ignorant fool would think Pelosi is in charge and sane from that photo, the irony she things its saying something positive about her..

In a meeting, as in life, when everyone is seated, someone standing up and pointing, has lost control .....

No surprise, though, that you're stupid enough to think Nancy looks bad in that photo. You're still firmly latched to Trump's leg, ------- away.

@realDonaldTrump was measured & decisive today....

When the White House Press Secretary has to put out a tweet that describes a Pres Trump acting contrary to his usual unscripted self.

Pres Trump is far more likely to go off the deep end than to be measured and decisive. Especially when he's heard that Republicans in the House of Representatives had the audacity to vote against him.

He was dripping around the edges before he even went into the meeting.

Trump, who has a history of bullying, yelling and lying about literally everything, inconsequential or not, is more likely than not to have been the person who had a meltdown and the person lying about it today.

Uh, sure, Andy. In your eyes, Trump can do no wrong. (thousands of dead Kurds, men, women and 'beautiful children' not withstanding.) His crimes and Corrupt Administration, jailhouse convicts and all, are completely simply staged by Nancy.

And, sure, Jeff... "Team Trump claims it was Pelosi who had the meltdown.
Without video, or at least a transcript, it's impossible to know how the accuracy of either claim."

As long as you ignore all Trump's previous meltdowns, blame splashing, and Narcissistic responses you have been made aware of since before the election, and to date. And as long as you choose to believe the guy who has told over 13,000 lies since his Putin abetted election, is telling the god's honest truth here, there is no telling about the accuracy of either claim.

But if you HAD to make a wager for $10,000.00 as to who melted down, your money would be on Trump, and you know it.

I dont think your "we may never know" is 10K strong. It is just more willful, useful idioting, water muddying. It is just another 'soft lie' to passively defend the political Monster in the White House.

Stop exaggerating. It undermines the Democrats chances. The numbers of people who voted for Trump is not that different from those that voted for Bush or McCain. You'd be closer to the mark to say that enough people voted out of spite that it made a difference in the closest battleground states. Beyond that your speculation is counterproductive.

Sometimes someone other than the supposed leader needs to stand up and put everyone in their place. Frankly I have had to do it in contentious meetings in the past when the "leaders" lost control. It can be the only way to bring a bad meeting back to order with any hope of being on track. I am confrontation adverse, I would rather work it out through polite discourse but there comes a point people literally need to stand up to be heard.

Maddow nailed it:

(1) Turkey wants to push the Kurds out of that part of Syria.
(2) Trump gives em the OK to invade.
(3) Pence brokers a "deal" in which the Kurds... must get out of that part of Syria.
(4) the US agrees to un-sanction turkey.

No, but the maxim holds there, too. How are you ever going to get what you want at McD's if you leave in the middle of conducting business. Maybe you just want to post on Instagram that you had a run-in with a McDonald's worker that you couldn't handle?

You need to be able to remain engaged in order to lead or influence policy. Storming out of a meeting like Pelosi did is admitting that she ran out of ammo (again) in a war of wits.

She went back to her cave just like Wile E. Coyote, to receive a new shipment of impeachment plans from Acme.

Which season can we watch you win on Survivor, Dix?

#77 | Posted by snoofy

The season where Bruce sharts his diaper like Nancy did in this meeting.

Beating diaper sharters is like taking candy from babies.

Great line; last 4 words are pure magic. Works on so many levels.

Was mine.

Now yours, since you're not giving attribution.

Feel free to use it, bud.

Go crazy with it.

Do try to deploy within proper context in the milieu.

You are *denying* your ---- retentive impulses.
#80 | Posted by snoofy

Snoof --

You get yourself in a lot of trouble with your word substitution habit.

To increase the readability of your retorts, use words that have multiple levels of meaning, rather than substituting words altogether.

Let me show you a *tip*:

This one was your knockoff effort -- "denying" ---- retentive impulses. Not punchy -- requires further explanation.

My original "projecting" ---- retentive impulses gets the reader to do a whole bunch of work for you, and in a hurry. "Projecting" is a term of art from the psychology world, similar to "denying" which you chose. But projecting carries with it *spewing imagery* e.g. projectile vomiting, and also *viewing imagery*, e.g. viewing a projected image on a screen, like a movie.

The spewing and viewing imagery brings an otherwise dry psychology term to life.

Don't overlook the utility of words such as "----" and "impulse," which can be clinical and naughty at the same time. Keep a mental list as you come upon these special words.

See how I work my tip?

Yours in Word Play,

'Notch

There you go again with the sloppy word change. Urges does not equal impulses.

The unforced errors kill your game.

Be best, Snoofy!

Our Trump, which shart on hole eleven,
Hallowed be thy Brand
Thy Hotels grand.
Thy will be done in Turkey,
As it is in Pyongyang.
Give us this day our daily ass.
Epstein give us girls to trespass,
As we catch and kill them that trespass with us.
And lead them not into America,
But Wall us off from Brown Evil.
For thine is the wisdom,
Unmatched in its glory,
Bigly and Yuge,
Just like the Two Corinthians,
Amen.

C'mon. Who doesn't like 5 long minutes of good old fashioned explosive diarrhea humor, especially to find out the toilet doesn't flush? Would've been better if there was no TP, though and Jeff Daniels had to do the left hand Muslim thing.

Can I say that on the DR?

And yes. Skip the sequel.

Physically, a person's meltdowns are numbered. You can only have a certain few until a blood clot lets loose and makes its way to the brain or lungs, starving them from oxygen. I'm relatively certain Trump has only a few freebies left until the big one hits and he starts painting his toes in the bathtub.
