If President Trump doesn't demonstrate the leadership that America needs, then it is time for a new person in the Oval Office. Admiral McRaven is a former commander of the United States Special Operations Command.

Ask Google.

Gold is considered "biologically inert," meaning it passes through the digestive tract without being absorbed. ... Gold leaf with a smaller carat value has more impurities and is less safe to eat. If you are careful and buy gold leaf that is clearly labeled as "edible" and has 22-24 carats, eating gold leaf is harmless.Aug 12, 2019

Does not the fact that they are his children give rise to at least the appearance of impropriety, regardless of their salaries?

The Times has a paywall. So I googled it.

"Ivanka Trump, the elder daughter of President Donald Trump, is becoming an official government employee, joining her husband, Jared Kushner, in serving as an unpaid adviser to her father in the White House.

"The announcement on Thursday (AEDT) amounts to the formal recognition of the value Trump places on the judgment and loyalty of both his daughter and his son-in-law. While relying on family members for advice is hardly unusual for a president, giving them a formal role has few precedents."

She still doesn't serve Trump at taxpayer expense. I'm no lawyer. But it looks to me as perfectly legal and proper.

I provided two (2) different sources in my post, and the titles alone show you were wrong in your claim.

"...serving as an unpaid adviser to her father in the White House..."

An employee is an individual who was hired by an employer to do a specific job. The employee is hired by the employer after an application and interview process results in his or her selection as an employee. This selection occurs after the applicant is found by the employer to be the most qualified applicant to do the job.

Apparently, compensation is not necessarily a part of being an employee.

And, after all, you claimed "Ivanka is not a federal employee."

In fact, she is.

I get that. I really do. But context changes with times. As you know, I am one of Laura's biggest critics here. I've said many times her posts are idiotic -- and I stand by that. She's a mindless parrot with keys on her keyboard that stick. She posts as a child. But to bring anything against anyone for what they said three years ago is an admission that flexibility and change are not to be tolerated.

If Laura changed from post to post or day to day, week to week, or even month to month, I get it. But three years? I think we should all be allowed to evolve in that period of time.

Again, not defending Laura whom I think is an idiot, or even attacking hans for his hypocrisy of his "live in the past" thing (well, OK, I am LOL) but I think we should be allowed change as time moves on without fear of criticism.

I never did that, liar. Cite me doing that.

As for your "moron" thing"

The study of psychology teaches us that when someone resorts to name calling, it usually speaks to feelings of inferiority and a feeling of inadequacy of the person doing the name calling. People stoop to the process of name calling when they feel lesser and need to make themselves feel more powerful.

Hilarious. I cited it about 3 dozen times.

Remember. You said it was "just a game".

When someone else uses insults it's a look into their inner psyche. When you do it it's just a game.

Why do you enable crack addicts by giving them the fix (attention) they crave?

Just asking.

She loves the attention herself, even if it is negative attention having her lies and hypocrisies spelled out.

Duh.
