[Turkish President Recep Tayyip] ErdoÄan hails agreement with [Russian President Vladimir] Putin in which Kurdish fighters will be moved from border area ... Most of all, it cements Moscow's new role as prime powerbroker in the Middle East as US influence in the region wanes.

Yep. The US is a declining power. Russia and China are filling in the void by peaceful means. Not by imperial aggression

The 1980s are now calling to ask for their foreign policy back because ... the Cold War's been over for 20 years.

Russia replaces us patrolling the border of a NATO ally.

Russia kills Ukranians every single day in Ukraine. They occupied and annexed Crimea. The Chinese are trying to "own" the S. China Sea and they hold over 1,000,000 Uighers in concentration camps. Real nice peaceful folks. The U.S. hasn't fought a war to take territory in a very long time. Our military could still defeat theirs pretty easily.

This is a massive win for Putin. Maybe he'll send a beautiful thank you letter to Trump

So, Ray loves him some Assad-loving, crony capitalist Russians and genocidal, human rights suppressing China.

No surprise there. People who think that Russian and Chinese influence in the third world is a good thing should ax' the Russian people and the people of Hong Kong.

The Donbass region was a victim of Stalin, who starved millions of Ukrainians to death in the Ukrainian Genocide of 1932-33. After WW II, large numbers of Russian workers repopulated the area, altering the population balance in Russia's favor.

Trump's helping Russia do further damage to the Ukraine and ceding power to them in Syria too. What a traitor!

He desperately needs to believe the Country is in decline because he's been stroking his gold for decades hoping for an Augasm.

The link to Moscow Times says nothing about Trump or the Us.

Donbass has been under attack by the Ukraine because they are Russian speaking and prefer to join with Russian speaking Crimea. The Russians have been giving them assistance.
In that context, Trump would have been telling Zelensky to cease fire. Donbass is not the US's to give.

#20 | Posted by Ray at 2019-10-22 08:06 PM | Reply

#21 | Posted by chuffy at 2019-10-22 08:09 PM | Reply

Drumpf told Zelensky to talk to Putin, forcing his hand. Another feather in Putin's cap. Our president is Putin's puppet.

Russia kills Ukranians every single day in Ukraine. They occupied and annexed Crimea. says Danni in #5.

This is classic the way the mainstream twists facts around.

The Russians are helping Donbass defend themselves against Ukranian attacks. It is in by this circuitous route, the Russians are supposedly killing Ukranians.

Crimea has a hundred year history with Russia going back to Katherine the Great. They are Russian speaking and relate to Russian culture. Khrushchev gave Crimea to Ukraine as a gift. After the breakup of the Soviet Union, the Crimeans wanted out of the Ukraine; they were badly treated. The Crimeans, in a referendum, voted overwhelming to rejoin Russia.

Do you people like being lied to? The impression I get is that you'll believe anything that supports your biases.

Russia goes after separatists and terrorists within their own territory without impunity. Why shouldn't Ukraine be able to go after the sick ---- who shot down a commercial airliner a few years ago?
