McConnell now joining Graham in denouncing the lack of due process in House committee investigations of Trump.

The House is conducting an investigation, like a grand jury investigation. The defendant doesn't get due process before a grand jury - - no lawyer with him even if he's subpoenaed to testify. (But he can always plead the 5th.) Actually, House investigations offer more due process than grand juries because there are Republicans and their lawyers in those closed-door committee sessions.

Due process is for when Trump goes on trial in the Senate, which it appears is certain to happen.

Irony of the Day: The rules being followed for witnesses, subpoena power, etc. are from Republican rule changes.

Yep. They did for short-term political calculations without giving any thought about how it would work when power shifted.

They are now reaping what they have sown.

As we knew they would.

And now they whine and stomp their feet and disrupt and obstruct legimate proceedings.

As we knew they would.

No worries. It may take longer because of the republicans constant obstruction but Humpy will be impeached.

I hope you enjoy what you have helped to create by supporting this in insanity in the first place.
