Clinging to Trump out of fear he will kill you if you don't do what he says is becoming more politically perilous.

It'll be a good day when we're rid of McConnell.

#2 | Posted by jpw at 2019-11-06 11:27 PM | Reply

I hear Republicans calling out "do nothing Democrats," almost every day but those hearing that are either stupid or dishonest. The Democrats have passed many important bills in the House but MoscowMitch won't let any of them come to the Senate floor for debate or a vote. So, it is really the "do nothing MoscowMitch," that is obstructing everything.

It's about time that "old Turtle Face" Mitch gets the hell out

and get back into his shell!!

Na, Mitch the _itch would get re-elected no matter what. Bevin was just deeply unpopular.

Yep. For all of his faults he's a brilliant political tactician and he will continue to be re-elected until he decides to retire.

Moscow Mitch and Leningrad Lindsey hitched their wagon to the wrong horse. Should be very entertaining to watch the Russiapublicans squirming and maneuvering to get out of the wagon as it plummets over the cliff. All the Drumpf-supporter lemmings might want to reconsider jumping themselves, there's still time.

"he's a brilliant political tactician"

"The single most important thing we want to achieve is for President Obama to be a one-term president"

FAIL

I suspect in less than two years you asshats will be whining about the Trump Judges not being ideological enough

You know, because Judicial Fiat

karma

Political ideology aside, it is counter productive to vote out your senator when they hold so much power.

---------. There is nothing brilliant about refusing to let judicial candidates from the other party even get a hearing, or refusing to debate bills duly passed by the other house of congress simply because they are popular and you don't want to be seen shooting them down. It is simply an unabashed willingness to put party before country, and it is despicable. The fact that you cheer this behavior says a lot about your patriotism.

It's Jeff what did you expect??

#12 | Posted by LauraMohr at 2019-11-07 06:31 PM | Reply

I expect better. He used to be better than this. He used to sit on a fence post trying to rationalize the irrational. Now 9 times out of 10 he is the irrational.

The fact you can't read says a lot about your literacy.

Where does he "cheer his behavior"?

Agreed.

Part of civilized meeting procedures require rules of order, and within those rules includes multiple avenues to throw a wrench into the works. Gumming up the works to gum up the works isn't show of brilliance, it's a tantrum of selfishness.

Calling naked partisan obstructionism brilliance.

If you want to disagree with term "brilliance", fine. I will join you.

But it's not cheering.

Ken Lay was considered "brilliant" and by people who clearly knew he was not a good person.

Exactly. Heck, Nancy Pelosi is a brilliant political tactician as was Tom Delay. I can't stand either of them.

Jeff, I called a lot of folks cheerleaders for some time in the past here.

They still aren't over it, perhaps.

They must have really hated it because look at how they try to stick you with that label even when you're not doing it.

They see "cheering" when there is none.....strange.

Ebs,

Lately, sometimes when I post here I fear I'm going to catch rabies.

There is a palpable amount of anger on this site and some of it is irrational.

Thank you DJT

Your plan for dividing America and fomenting violence and anger is working!!

Rather than pursuing a More Perfect Union we are now pursuing becoming more perfectly divided.

And calling for his deplorables to create a civil war is beyond evil.

All of America will breathe a sigh of relief when this criminal is off the streets and behind bars where he belongs.

And bet you ( as are most of his minions) are so tired of trying to twist reality into a pretzel to try and defend (very poorly) this fool and to keep carrying his putrid water for him.

You sure sound tired. I bet you will be relieved too when this is over.

(No worries! This too, will pass)

As usual, not-liberals hate it when their rhetoric is turned against them.

As usual, not-liberals whine about civility, and can't understand how a targeted comment, one that sits in the middle of their blanket support of traitors and partisan obstructionists on the whole, is met with a less than a vulcan response.

It's formulaic at this point.

Being brilliant is only good if you use it to help people who deserve help.

He's an evil genius who uses his abilities to hurt people who deserve help.

The odds are in favor that Mitch will be re-elected. Just like Chris Collins was re-elected in redneck, hillbilly, jerkwater Western NY.

People just don't learn. The only thing we can hope for is kicking these ------- off the porch and let them go back to what ever rock they were hiding under.

The GOP are like that cousin no one invites: the one that's retarded but runs around groping the dog by the nuts every holiday BBQ.

I just read the intervening comments. I get it - we are going to have a semantics conversation. You're right, he didn't "cheer" McConnell's "brilliance."
