Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Thursday, November 07, 2019

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) openly speculated on Wednesday night that U.S. Ambassador to the European Union, Gordon Sondland, recently changed his impeachment testimony because he was now partnered up with "Democratic operatives" and House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA).

IN a way he's right - Anyone who stops lying is therefore on the side of truth, which is the side the dems are on. So anyone who refuses to lie is "in cahoots" with dems.

I am in Cahoots with the Dems too. It is a badge of honor. The republicans have nothing worth being in cahoots with them for.

There is blackmail going on and Lindsey is a victim of it. Trump owns him. As impeachment gets closer and Trump uses more of his intel to intimidate, I think that the American people are going to want impeachment more and more every single day. And if Republicans refuse to convict Americans will reject them as the traitors they are.

Is it all an elaborate conspiracy to get Sondland, a sleeper "deep state" operative, to donate $1 million to Trump's campaign so that Sondland could be in this position to stab Trump in the back? Which pizza parlor basement was this conspiracy run out of? What did Hillary know and when did she know it???

The answer, for conservatives, to the above question is apparently a resounding "YES".

Though, no one had the balls to respond to it in the actual thread I posted it.

Lol... I am so prescient.

Or, conservatives are so predictable.

Just make sure you stretch before you move those goalposts again. They sure are getting heavy after you have moved them so far already. And I wouldn't want you to pull a muscle.

I note that the Republicans are still not commenting upon what Pres Trump did, but are continuing to try to throw up as much dust as possible to avoid and obscure the real question being asked of them.

The WB's attorney says the coup is on and just so happens to be the attorney the WB chooses. A coup requires espionage. The WB's involvement is much longer than just the phone callm. The spying has been going on long enough.

That's what your deluded mind wants to believe. I specifically remember telling you I started buying in 2004 when silver was under $7. I would have started earlier if I could have.

Gold have been rising more than double the rate of S&P over twenty years. You conveniently picked 8 years ago from the time when gold peaked.

Luckily, I didn't take your "wisdom". The Vanguard 500 is up over 140%, and that was before the recent records.

Lucky for you both stocks and gold are safe haven investments. Clearly gold is the better value because nobody is interested in it. I like that gold is still cheap, so I can buy more.

Spoken like a true investing moron.

Eight years ago, you were touting gold, just as you were prior. Since then, gold has gone down in value, and produced NO dividends, while the S&P has more than doubled, up about 150%.

"Clearly gold is the better value "

You thought the same thing eight years ago. Clearly you were wrong.

You conveniently picked 20 years ago. In the last ten years, it hasn't come close to beating the S&P. At best, you are at a 2% yearly gain in Gold since 2008.

If you invested in 2011-2013, you are still down.

Bonds are a safe haven.

"Gold have been rising more than double the rate of S&P over twenty years"

Nice cherry-picking, in the same sentence accusing me of cherry-picking.

You were specifically touting it during 2011. I remember because you had been screeching so long about the world coming to an end, I finally nailed you down on a date specific. You said definitely later on that year, and if not, certainly the following year.

That was 2011; I remember because I knew Obama was up for re-election the following year.

Since then, you would've been better off stuffing cash in a mattress than buying and holding gold. Alternately, you could've more than doubled your money in a basic Index Fund.

But Ray knew better than all of us. Still does; just ask him.
