"I am writing out of deep concern that your client, the President of the United States, is engaging in rhetoric and activity that places my client, the Intelligence Community Whistleblower, and their family in physical danger," Andrew Bakaj wrote to White House counsel Pat Cipollone in a Thursday letter obtained by CNN's Anderson Cooper.

"I am writing to respectfully request that you counsel your client on the legal and ethical peril in which he is placing himself should anyone be physically harmed as a result of his, or his surrogates', behavior," he said.

The letter to Cipollone also states that "should anyone be physically harmed, my co-counsel, Mark Zaid, and I will not hesitate to take any and all appropriate action against your client. Those who are complicit in this vindictive campaign against my client, whether through action or inaction, shall also be responsible, be that legally or morally."

The media is trying to stop people from talking about Eric Ciaramella the Whistleblower because they don't want people to know Eric Ciaramella the Whistleblower is the whistleblower. And the media can't punish anyone for saying Eric Ciaramella the Whistleblower is the whistleblower because that would admit Eric Ciaramella the Whistleblower is the whistleblower. The reason they don't want to admit Eric Ciaramella the Whistleblower is the whistleblower is because that would be admitting a coup attempt.

Someone is likely going to go after the whistleblower and his family because of Trump, Rand Paul, Trump Jr, and the other lackeys.

How stupid do you have to be not to understand that?

I think the media is not wanting to talk about the whistleblower because it would set a bad precedent for future whistleblowers.

The whistleblower laws provide protection for those who speak up about the wrongs they see in government, because speaking up about wrongs you see in government is a good thing, right?

If you'd ever hired a lawyer, you'd know that it is in your best interests to find one whose personal beliefs and goals will be of benefit to your case.

A lawyer who personally despises Trump will give a 110% effort to defend the WB, and will likely do a comparatively better job than an attorney who is ambivalent as to Trump or might even be a Trump supporter.

If it was such a "perfect" phone call, why don't they want to talk about it?

It is probably going to spill over into mext week's public meetings, with the Republicans trying their best to kick up a bunch of dust in an attempt to obscure what is becoming more obvious by the day --- it wasn't a "perfect" phone call.

And what we have seen is that at the very least, Joe Biden and Adam Schiff are both unethical -------- that should probably be dragged down every step of the capital and thrown in jail for taking bribes while in office.

Schiff outs his own WB

Schiff, who early on made the ridiculous claim that the identity of the so-called "whistleblower" needed to be kept secret to prevent hordes of vengeful Trump supports from descending on his house, is the one who ultimately outed the man.

This came during the testimony of William Taylor, former ambassador to Ukraine, who the Democrats are considering their key witness to date. During Schiff's cross-examination of Taylor, a transcript of which was leaked to the media on Wednesday, Schiff asked him point blank, "Does a person by the name of Eric Ciaramella ring a bell for you." The purpose of the question was to affirm that Taylor had no previous knowledge of the "whistleblower," which he confirmed, but the cat was now out of the bag

"Trump political appointees were believed to frequently talk to journalists who worked for conservative media outlets. For months, those outlets published names of career Civil and Foreign Service officers in the NSC and other government agencies whose loyalties they deemed suspect. Career staffers who had joined the U.S. government many years, sometimes decades, earlier were suddenly cast as Obama loyalists determined to derail Trump's agenda as part of a "deep state." The people targeted included a State Department civil servant of Iranian descent who'd joined the government under the George W. Bush administration; a highly respected Foreign Service officer who dealt with Israeli issues; and an NSC staffer who dealt with European and Russian issues. The latter, Eric Ciaramella, reportedly left the NSC after receiving death threats."

No wonder the whistle blower is legitimately scared. He's already gone through a full round of death threats before actually being a whistle blower. Not that any Trumpers would consider that newsworthy at all.

The problem is these career State Department and letter agencies think they know better than anyone else - so they believe that their actions are totally justified. The relationships that they have built within the agencies are their babies and protecting those are more important than doing the bidding of any president, who will only be in office for 4-8 years regardless. Thus, we get things like the Bay of Pigs and the Russia Hoax. These are people that cannot accept that Trump wants a different policy. Best case, these career bureaucrats are just misguided - but with the corruption in a country like Ukraine, you got to believe there is a financial motivation there somewhere as well. We cannot have unelected people making this decisions - whether it is the turds in the State Department - or, God forbid, the military.

Apparently, we should not have a permanent government. We should fire all civilian Federal employees on January 20 every time the White House changes hands from one party to the other (all 2.1 million of them). People should never dedicate their lives to the support and defense of the country. And those who do, should never vote or participate in democracy, as is their guaranteed right in the Constitution (the Amendment that comes before the 2nd), because that would make them "partisans". Oh, that goes for the professional military, too. After all, we have all these "never Trumpers" in the senior officer corps. Screw it. Dismantle it. Blow the whole thing up. The Royalists in 1776 were right. No way in hell we can be self-governing.

This has little to do with Trump. It's about deep state filth subverting elections when the Queen of the Warmongers wasn't elected to further their agenda. Considering you'd personally light the Constitution on fire just to get Trump impeached, I think I'll take your thoughts on a "free America" and "free people" with several grains of salt.

" It's about deep state filth subverting elections"

Which member of the deep state forced Trump to withhold Congressionally approved aid until he received a quid pro quo?

Please be specific, because so far, it looks like no one but Trump made the decision to leverage his position of power for dirt on his chief political opponent.

Otherwise, your defense reduces to You had no right to discover my wrongs.

President Pence will not reference a "Deep State" at all for the year he is in office.

Yeah, man. I know. You got stabbed in the back at Versailles.

I'm guessing you have to look that up, too.

I'm waiting for:

"It wasn't Trump on the call at all. Rudy hired an impersonator..."

If there are back-channel communications regarding Ukraine - wouldn't that make Giuliani the deep state?

Therefore by your logic Ben - Rudy is filth.

Bring it.

We can quit right now if you just admit that you're a misogynistic weirdo.

One of my friends voted for trump - but he smoked meth... What's your excuse?!?

TDSers don't want you to know who Ciaramella is, because like every one of their BS "whistleblowers", they have ties in one way or another to Biden, Clinton, Brennan, and Clapper.

#40 | Posted by Ben_Berkkake

It literally doesn't matter who the whistleblower is. It could be hillary clinton herself. It could be jeffrey epstein. It could be satan. It doesn't matter because their claims have been proven to be TRUE.

If hitler called the cops about a robbery, that doesn't mean the cops shouldnt catch and jail the robbers does it?

"The letter agencies don't want to be questioned, don't want to be audited, and don't want their budgets touched no matter who's in power."

So why isn't Trump draining their swamp?
Because it's his swamp now.
And you love it.

The whistleblower's name is Eric Ciaramella. The name Eric CIAramella is being blocked by a bunch of antisocial media sites. Curiouser and curiouser.

You are obsessing over the whistleblower like a trained dog. And your master is the world's most obvious liar and con man.

Apparently any investigations and criminal convictions using Crime Stoppers USA 1-800-222-TIPS should all be pardoned. Such is the way the Republican mind works. Such a mystery.
