This.

Bolton is only loyal to one person...Bolton. It is highly likely that his testimony is going to hurt both sides.

Trump: I want you to do us a favor though..

Yeah, sure. Takes Scooby-Doo to figure out this mystery , doesn't it ConservaDunces?

When is the part where you retain a scrap of dignity or honor and actually address Fatso's corruption?

Bolton is a phony patriot. He cares only about (1) putting forth his crack-pot world view, and (2) keeping the chattering class on Fox as his employers. In this case, his future income is at risk, so rather than damage his ability to sell books and act as a talking head on the scandal sheet of cable news, Bolton will not go willingly into the hearings, and once there will not give anyone anything they seek...

still the Dem leadership is not stating what Trump is being impeached for, the media is telling us. the inquiry is a hope to find something, just like the Mueller Report

kinda like us being arrested and held until the Police find something.....anything

Trump gave us the "transcript." The quid pro quo is in there.

Bolton heard about the crime and his reaction was - I dont want to get busted for this.

It wasn't - I need to call the cops to protect america from these criminals.

His only concern that it would get HIM in trouble, not that it was wrong.

The only person who did the right thing was the whistleblower. Everyone else just let it happen, even if they weren't making it happen themselves.

They're going to introduce articles of impeachment which will list the crimes. Then you'll need new talking points to whine about.

Start rehearsing those.

The wanna-be Kissinger is even less likeable than Kissinger himself. But it looks like Bolton immediately recognized the absurdity of Trump's policy towards Ukraine, then abruptly resigned shortly after. So, I think he has some credibility. Bolton will tell everything he knows, once he's assured there will be no legal consequences for discussing classified information.

HORST

"But it looks like Bolton immediately recognized the absurdity of Trump's policy towards Ukraine, then abruptly resigned shortly after."

That's only part of the story. Bolton resigned after he went over Trump's head and ordered the release of the military assistance money to Ukraine without Trump's knowledge.

That's according to the release of today's batch of deposition transcripts.

Resigned? Fired? It was probably a mutual knock down, drag out, verbal profanity laced agreement between the two.

You haven't actually read anything about either investigation, have you?

Bolton blindsided both Trump and Mulvaney.

That's risky business especially because it took away Trump's leverage and threw a monkey wrench into Russia's expansion into Ukraine.

Bolton might have to shave his mustache and go into witness protection.

Yep. Given how things ended between he and Trump I'm sure he's got an axe to grind. Having said that, given all of the vile invective Democrats have directed at him over the decades, he's not about to be a pawn for the Democratic Party.
