The Turkish leader and his lobbyists have alienated U.S. foreign policy professionals and Congress. They're betting Trump is all that counts.

I wonder if his security detail will jolly stomp more American protesters during this upcoming visit, like they did the last time they were here.

Putting all the cards on Trump? LOL.

Why not? Erdogan barked at Trump and America threw away it's Kurdish allies.

Putting your cards on Trump is a good bet.

Men...foreign affairs has turned in to a hypocrite maker. Not interesting anymore. Liberals say we should always be talking to foreign leaders and working with them diplomatically, even the ones who are in the middle of oppressing their people....16 times in one case...

But then if it's a Rep in office, all of a sudden we shouldn't work diplomatically with foreign leaders, we should just shun them. This same issue will come up every term so the same hypocrite-making actions will follow when it's a Dem. Never ends.

"all of a sudden we shouldn't work diplomatically with foreign leaders"

I want you to do us a favor, though......AFTER withholding nearly $400 million in aid.

Pro tip: that's NOT diplomacy.
