Yeah this is a mess. And why didn't Mr. Morales' party choose another candidate to run for President instead of changing the rules to let him run again?

Because he was intent on being a dictator and in control of the party. The election fraud drew the people to the streets though.

Don't forget to mention the lithium that Morales wanted to nationalize and the US's history of meddling with "banana republics" and with Iran when they wanted to nationalize their oil. In the election vote count, votes from more rural (and indigenous populated areas) came in later. OAS reported the gains Morales was making later as "suspicious" when they should have been expected, but $50 mil of their $85 mil funding is from the US, who wants the lithium, so their jumping the gun is understandable due to a conflict of interest.
