Greta Thunberg is sailing across the Atlantic, again. It's much sooner than she had planned, but not before making her mark in the United States. Ms. Thunberg, the 16-year-old Swedish climate activist, was scheduled to set sail from Hampton, Va., on Wednesday morning.

When do they lose their virginity in Sweden? 10? 11?

About time she found someone as weird looking and disturbed as herself and mellow down.

However, I think she's ghey but doesn't know it yet. That's where her frustration comes from.

this should pick things up for them.

Naw.... but if they can give Julian Assange political asylum on their boat, then yeah. Definitely.

I didn't mean the Aussie boat people.... I meant generally speaking. She needs to find some other weird Swedish person.

What her parents are putting this poor girl through is tantamount to child abuse. She needs to be in therapy for her irrational fears of climate change and some actual education in school would not hurt either. Everything about this girl screams Lyin' Liz Warren level of FAKE.

IRA needs meds, irrational nonsense keeps spilling out of his mouth. One of the most idiotic posters to ever post on this site.

"I didn't mean the Aussie boat people...."

But they are kind of weird of looking, too. Maybe she'll become that guy's fourth wife.

Maybe she'll slash their throats while they sleep.....

How many Hollywood movies do we need to watch to learn to never pick up hitch-hikers... specially those who display symptoms of mental distress?

She gives off a Billy Zane vibe.

Now that you mention it... YES.

From Bloomberg:

"Greta Thunberg, the 16-year-old Swedish climate activist who started the Friday school strikes, has graduated from secondary education with 14 As and three Bs."

I'm not Swedish, but I'm guessing that is some actual education. Maybe you should take a leaf out of her book.

I like keeping tabs on weird people.

It's called 'survival instinct'.

And HOW DARE YOU!

I'm a terrible person? Me? You have stolen my dreams and my childhood with your empty words. And yet I'm one of the lucky ones. People are suffering. People are dying. Entire ecosystems are collapsing. We are in the beginning of a mass extinction, and all you can talk about is money and fairy tales of eternal economic growth. How dare you!

Also Also J Tremain spends the day looking at photos on Pakistani websites. Almost as telling as Nullifidian posting links to .ru sites. *sigh* I really wish these foreign rabble-rousers were less transparent.

They're just boat hippies. The Vagabond crew isn't dangerous. Mostly they just sail around feeling bad for the indigenous people who's islands they cruising. Tula's Endless Summer is a more interesting channel.

Vagabonds are awesome boats. I lived aboard a 54' for about 3 years. You haven't lived until you spend one night sleeping on deck in the middle of the ocean without so much as a nightlite for 100 miles.

Sounds very cool. What's the temp at that time? Is it jams on the beach, or are you bundled up?

We were I the South Pacific fairly close to the equator in mid-summer. It was quite warm. The cabin was too damn hot. On the deck there was a nice breeze.

- hat.

They are sailing an Outremer catamaran 45.

Fast, but comfortable performance cat.

Sailing in the middle of the ocean is by far the second biggest mind opening experience you can do today.

Orbiting the earth from space would be first.

Get a charter. Boat ownership is not what people describe as blissful. The two most common words are hole, and money.

If you buy a boat and park it in a slip and let it rot it will definitely be a money pit. Boats sitting in a slip require more maintenance than boats in use. Also if you are cruising the world you don't pay $25-50/ft/month slip fees. In some Marinas parking a 54' sailboat can cost you close to $30,000/year
