Multi-billion dollar corporation have to ship truck loads of Papar. He's under audit, too. The average businessman commits two felonies a day.

But he is not at fault - his accounting firm is, and it has insurance to cover for that. And etc....

"and plans to take the case to the Supreme Court."

Oh yes, when you want justice, take it to our sold out, corrupt Supreme Court who turned America away from democracy in favor or oligarchy. Me, like millions of other Americans, have no faith in the SC, the corporate five are corrupt to their core. John Roberts and the rest will burn in hell forever, at least I sincerely hope so. Do I actually hate them? Yes, with a passion. I despise them. I pray for their demise. And I hope when they die they endure excruciating pain on the way out. They have destroyed Ameican democracy, intentionally, in favor of the choice of their owners, billionaires, thus we have oligarchy. Burn in hell you pieces of crap! I am only one of millions who think that way and millions more will be joining as time passes. The Justices on the SC that are intentionally destroying democracy will face the hordes sooner than they think and they will pay for their crimes against democracy. We will live to see them swinging from lamp posts in our lifetimes. Rightly so.

It won't happen until people who want something else get off their butts and vote. If R voter suppression continues and gets worse it won't happen then.

Wow, Danni tell us how you really feel.

I'm hoping, but I'm not confident, that SCOTUS will decline to hear the case. The previous ruling for the judges who found in favor of Congress was careful and reasonable, whereas the Drumpf appointed acolyte's dissent was ridiculous. The subpeona was served on Dotard's accounting firm, so does not directly impact his ability to "govern" and more importantly it denied his ludicrous claim that he can't even be investigated while in office. If SCOTUS takes the case, it will be the beginning of the end for them, and Roberts understands that. He is thinking about his legacy and even if SCOTUS hears the case he will side with the four reasonable members and uphold the Congressional subpoena.

Couldn't have said it better about the ACA debacle. Welcome to having the same exact sentiment the Right had. You can attempt the typical "This is different because" rhetoric that partisan hate requires but it won't change the fact it is the same thing. It's always nice to see a partisan hate-filled person actually come to the same conclusion as those who have been ethically trying to fight for what's right.

The ruling was made on Wednesday, Nov 13, 2019.

From the PDF ( assets.documentcloud.org ) of the Order:

Huh? I am assuming you are talking about the SC ruling in favor of Obamacare.

So, you are saying that the Supreme Court upholding what both Houses of Congress (democratically elected) and the President (also democratically elected) signed (Obamacare) it was "in favor of oligarchy", but if the nine APPOINTED Justices on the Supreme Court had OVERRULED the legislation that the democratically elected Congress and President signed it would have been turning America toward "democracy"?

Do you not see why I think conservatives are idiots?

That was a lower court. This ruling was on Trump's appeal. It's doubtful the higher court will take up Trump's next appeal.

If the Supreme Court doesn't give Trump what he wants on this he's going to defy the Appeals Court. With his back against the wall he has to.

It's NOT up to Trump to comply with this court order, it's his accounting firm that has to. They're the ones Congress went to court to get Trump's tax returns from. If the Supreme Court ether refuses to hear the case, or if they do and rule against Trump's argument, there's nothing that he can do to stop it, except perhaps hire someone to break into the accountant's office and steal his files ;-)

Trump should just cross out all his tax crimes with a sharpie and write "Perfect taxes. Beautiful taxes. Totally legal. Super smart genius taxes right here."

All he had to do was show his returns at the outset... but nooooooooooooooo... the "stable genius" has to make this more complx than it actually is... which is the story of his presidency.
