Iran Petrol: Protests Erupt over Surprise Rationing
Protests have erupted across Iran after the government unexpectedly announced it was rationing petrol and increasing its price. At least two people have been killed.

Sign of things to come. We've already seen rioting in Paris because of carbon taxes on fuel.

Iran is one of the world's largest oil producers, with exports worth billions of dollars each year. But it has limited refining capacity and sanctions have made it difficult to obtain spare parts for oil plants.
Surely country that boasts of making it's own weapon systems (instead of giving Russian weapons Irani paintjob) can make it's own refining equipment?
