Tax these ------.

I'm sick of driving over pot-holed filled streets and thru blighted neighborhoods where I live.

America is in it's SECOND Gilded Age -- it is time for a change.

Raise your local & state taxes ...

Also its not like more taxes fixes this issue. California pays outrageous taxes and we still have probably bottom third in terms of road quality.

You mean if they subject my income that was FICA taxed to income tax?

Of if my money that was already income taxed is subject to sales, gas and property taxes?

What should be done is the top income tax level should be raised high AND a generous tax credit should be allowed if the wages paid to their employees are dramatically increased.

Right now the tax code encourages hoarding of wealth.

The average tax rate paid by billionaires is less that the middle class for the first time in history.

"The economists assert that the average effective tax rate paid by America's wealthiest 400 families was 23%, whereas the bottom half of households paid 24.2%. To offer historical perspective, the study reports that the 400 richest had an effective tax rate of 47% in 1980. In 1960, that rate was as high as 56%. "

Okay, Mr. Dumpty.

Me, I save confiscatory for rates above 40%.
