James "Jimmy" Finkelstein, the owner of The Hill newspaper, is not a widely known media executive, but he is one of the era's most consequential.

Speaking of propaganda -- there is the 'major' media: i2.wp.com

Interesting that this author is choosing to rip The Hill, which when you look at the headlines there it's a pretty balanced site.

I get opposition to John Solomon - he's been pushing "Russiagate" is a deep-state coup for a couple of years. The thing about that is we will find out whether he was pushing a dumb conspiracy or whether he was doing top-rate investigative journalism. 3 different things are quietly in motion that will either vindicate Solomon or make him look like a hack:

1. The Horowitz IG report
2. The Michael Flynn trial
3. The John Durham criminal investigation

Unlike liberals here on the DR I will cut you some slack ... I agree completely.

Back in the day I offerred to make a DR Mobile App ... never heard back from RCade.

I think it would be handy but would hate to make money off the DR

If find it a little right leaning ... not a "propaganda" site, just a little more right leaning.

I was going to add something along those lines but didn't want to appear to be trolling.

The Hill was big into RussiaGate. Then, when it bombed, they where the only paper I know of that publicly apologized. They said they didn't do their due diligence. They admitted they where misled.

And now they are telling the truth about Eric in UkraineGate. Good for them. Almost nobody inside the US is covering that. All twitter and facebook posts mentioning his name are deleted. The MSM wont cover it at all. But hey, the Senate said it would drag this thing out for six weeks, so that's going to be funny. And everybody has to testify under oath in Congress. :)

This isn't about The Hills coverage or news in general.

It's about a friend of Trump using his news organization to propagate known conspiracy theories.

Something is fishy about The Hill. Likely russian influence judging by the way they tried to dismiss the most consequential political scandal in modern history, and the way they only support bernie, and hate biden.

As for the John Durham investigation, dont tell me you're falling for that right? That's the Barr investigation, which is the head of the justice department helping the president abuse his power and investigate his enemies.

"The thing about that is we will find out whether he was pushing a dumb conspiracy or whether he was doing top-rate investigative journalism."

His publishers have said they're having to "review" and correct prior stories. Is that usual for "top-rate"?

"It's about a friend of Trump using his news organization to propagate known conspiracy theories."

They know this.

And they intentionally refuse to acknowledge it.
