Why can't Democrats and the Democratic Party make political hay out of this disgraceful monstrosity?

Because they've always been part of the problem.

The MIC cannot make massive profits off their toys if you don't use them in needless wars.

It's like a cheaper version of the Green New Deal.

About 10 trillion cheaper than the Sanders Scam.

Sanders proposes a 16 trillion dollar Green Scheme. 16 is greater than 6. Actual math.

More likely, his 16 trillion estimate is ridiculously low. It's a truth almost universally acknowledged, that a government program will end up costing much more than a politician claims.

Could also pay for Medicare for all easily with the money.

"Could also pay for Medicare for all easily with the money."

It could...for two whole years.

Yes, but that assumes the income stream stops. How long could it shore up Medicare if the current income stream continues?

"Yes, but that assumes the income stream stops."

That's kinda like saying the article assumes that no more than $6.4T will be spent on GWOT, which further assumes that GWOT has terminated at the time the article was published. I don't think GWOT is going anywhere.

"I don't think GWOT is going anywhere."

I wasn't suggesting it was. Just that a large chunk of that $6.4T could've shored up all of SS, and part of Medicare. A better choice, I'd say. What say you?
