A Utah woman charged with a crime after her stepchildren saw her topless in her own home is fighting the case that could force her to register as a sex offender, citing a court ruling that overturned a topless ban in Colorado. Attorneys for Tilli Buchanan argue that the law is unfair because it treats men and women differently for baring their chests.

"It was in the privacy of my own home. My husband was right next to me in the same exact manner that I was, and he's not being prosecuted," she said after the court hearing.

"Supporters celebrated in February when the 10th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals upheld a ruling blocking a Fort Collins, Colorado, law against women going topless in public."

And she wasn't even out in public, she was in her own home. I don't want to ever hear about "big government taking away freedom" again from anyone who supports the government in this case. I grew up in a house with 7 kids, it was inevitable that we would all see our parents, inadvertently, naked. Big f*****g deal. None of us were damaged by it.

We all come into this world naked and broke.

If we plan it right, we leave that way too.

If I was on the jury, I would need to see a re-enactment before deciding whether it's lewd or not.

Based on the picture of her I'd take a pass on that.

She has a point. Her husband had his shirt off as well while they were working. This was not sexual in any way. If there is true justice, the judge should throw this out. It also has hints of a jealous ex-wife who called in the complaint.

Curious, why would you want to leave broke? Why wouldn't you want to leave the world, it owing you?

Seems kinda greedy to die broke.

Who are you trying to fool? She's hotter than any of your sister/wives, that's not saying much, but it's true.

She was intoxicated and would only put her shirt if her husband pulled out his penis. Sounds like something very weird was happening in that house. This isn't an accidental nudity sighting.

If God is so great, why did he make us with so many naughty bits?

#15,

I found it. It's probably not true and not worth posting.

"Prosecutors frame the event differently, according to the Tribune: They allege that Buchanan drunkenly commented in front of her stepchildren that she should be able to take off her shirt if her husband could do so, then removed her clothes. The prosecutors also allege that Buchanan told her husband that she would put her shirt back on only if he showed her his penis."

The prosecutors are now trying to justify their actions by claiming if they didn't distinguish between male and female chests, it would not be illegal for someone to grope women or young girls' breasts. Seriously. These people aren't remotely qualified for their jobs.

States and localities have every right to set their own standards of modesty expectations around minors.

Some places think it's immodest for women to show their faces in public or around minors.

From the article, the kids walked in. How many parents have their kids see them in various states of undress? 100%?
