Every holiday has its jazz soundtrack, though some yield more copious results than others. When Thanksgiving rolls around, one tune stands above all: "Stuffy Turkey," a lesser-known entry in the glorious songbook of Thelonious Monk.

Yes it is. Thanksgiving is not about food. It's supposed to be about counting your blessings. But leftists hate America so much they don't think there is anything to be thankful for. They can't even say "thanksgiving" without a smirk. Same with Christmas, which has been replaced with "xmas," to avoid saying the dreaded c-word.

The X is a symbol for Christ, moron.

Besides, the actual Christian holiday is the Feast of the Nativity of the Lord, God, and Savior, Jesus Christ, in the Flesh. Please yell at your Walmart cashier the next time he or she fails to wish you a happy one!

Have a glorious. Thanksgiving!

Sincerely,

Thankful Leftist

Yeah. Couldn't be due to having been raised by VERY strict christians, like a mate of mine, who considered using the word "christ" in ANY context outside of prayer to be blasphemy.

It's a wonder you don't fall down more often.

I know that, moron. Doesn't change the fact that leftists want to de-christianize Christmas.

"The left's war on holidays continues with left-wing MoveOn.org issuing instructions to its pink-hatted rabid resisters on how to "talk to your family about impeachment" over Thanksgiving dinner complete with an inspirational video. They offer step-by-step instructions on how to alienate and anger everyone in your family by turning a nice dinner into a political clown show. "Thanksgiving is Thursday & many of you may be spending the holiday with friends & family members who are uncertain about impeachment. Here's a guide for talking with them about impeachment," says MoveOn, an organization formed to convince Americans to "move on" from Bill Clinton's impeachment."

Here are 5 one-liners to fight back against your right-wing family members at Thanksgiving dinner

Thanksgiving dinners can be difficult if you're headed to your family that has one of those annoying family members who think they know everything because they watch Fox News.

1. There's no first-hand knowledge. It's all hearsay.

I mean, except for Mick Mulvaney, who admitted it on live television.

2. Attempted bribery isn't in the Constitution as a crime.

Actually it is. You know what they call "attempted bribery?" Bribery.

The Constitution cites "high crimes and misdemeanors" as a guide for impeachment. Attempted bribery falls under that. In fact, so does speeding in a school zone, which is considered a misdemeanor in some states.

3. He wasn't successful, so it doesn't matter.

That's not how the law works. As John Oliver pointed out, if a terrorist tries to blow himself up on a plane and the vest doesn't go off, that doesn't mean he's innocent.

4. Presidents make deals all the time.

Presidents don't make deals for their own personal benefit.

As "Last Week Tonight" host John Oliver explained it, Teddy Roosevelt's famous quote "speak softly and carry a big stick," didn't mean he wanted people to take all of the sticks for his own personal stick collection. Ronald Regan never mandated East and West Germany use his own private BobCat company to "tear down that wall."

5. We should just let the election decide it.

That's not how the law works, nor is it how the law should work. If you break the law, you face the consequences, whether you're a child, a teenager, a Congressman, Felicity Huffman, a Vegas kick-line dancer, or the president of the United States. No person is above the law. At least, that's what it's supposed to be like. If we want to start handing out loopholes for the rich, famous, and elected officials, let the GOP put that up for a ballot initiative in all 50 states.

If a guy running for Congress is caught embezzling millions for his campaign fund for his own personal business that is in bankruptcy, no one would say he shouldn't be prosecuted, and we should just let voters decide.

They offer step-by-step instructions on how to alienate and anger everyone in your family by turning a nice dinner into a political clown show

My family has diverse political leanings and the members are not afraid to express them over a hearty meal, hence this happens in my house regardless of influence such as MoveOn.org. Difference is, I suppose, my family can handle it. We still love each other and I tend to learn more about an opposing perspective, similar to what I experience here, WHICH IS WHAT INFLUENCES ME TO KEEP COMING BACK TO THE RETORT! Thanksgiving is really the only time of year for this sort of congregation for my family, and politics are important to us, so we 'have at it' all in good nature. Some folks and families are capable of that, yet I understand many are not, as evidenced by the hacks on this very site.

Not sure how that amounts to a war on Thanksgiving, but if believing such brings you comfort and helps you sleep at night, I encourage you to keep hammering this narrative like Billy O did as it related to the war on Christmas. What ever makes NULLI happy, that's what counts.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I went to four friends' homes today. Started with a morning football game. 3/4 homes were liberal. The 1/4 was conservative but literally conservative, none of this Trumper fake conservative weak-sauce. Only one person spoke politics all day, and it was a Trumper who tried to incite but was met with silence.

It was a good day full of family and friends. I'm grateful for all the good things in my life.

Perhaps we should take bets on the number of registered voters who will be disenfranchised by the cheating Republicans before the election. Some estimates are around 3,000,000.

i have registered as poll watcher.... this 2020 election i will keep an eye on things...

instead of watching the polls, i'll be driving to known democrat cementaries to ensure the entrances are chained and padlocked.

this year, unregistered dead democrats who have voted will be locked out and will not be allowed to return.

expect to see a lot of hillary supporters locked out and standing around... at starbucks and talking about the many benefits of communism.

When President Donald Trump brought up the idea that noncitizens were casting ballots in elections, the reaction was fast and furious. Such a thing, if it exists at all, is exceedingly rare, we were told. But when one state decided to take a close look, it found something quite different.

After a yearlong voter-fraud probe, Texas discovered that, lo and behold, 95,000 people identified as noncitizens had voter registrations. What's more, 58,000 of them voted in one or more Texas elections.

When Attorney General Ken Paxton led the state's investigation, he noted that Texas had already found 165 noncitizens in four counties who had cast 100 illegal votes in two years.

More recently, Pennsylvania officials said they found more than 11,000 noncitizens registered to vote in that state.

The War is on truth. And you are leading the charge.

Nulli wants us to let him have his mythologies.

Poor Nulli. It's hard to hide from the truth forever isn't it?

"Relations between the Wampanoag and the settlers deteriorated, leading to the Pequot War. In 1637, in retaliation for the murder of a man the settlers believed the Wampanoags killed, they burned a nearby village, killing as many as 500 men, women, and children. Following the massacre, William Bradford, the Governor of Plymouth, wrote that for "the next 100 years, every Thanksgiving Day ordained by a Governor was in honor of the bloody victory, thanking God that the battle had been won."

Just 16 years after the Wampanoag shared that meal, they were massacred."

Is this the truth you are so afraid of? Maybe you should find out if it is really true?

Is it?

Or are the liberals lying?

Nulli wants to continue to believe the thanksgiving myths and it's just getting so annoying with all those liberals out there who keep trying to tell him the truth.

Stop telling Nulli the truth!

Believe the lies Nulli. Believe the lies about Christmas and about the first thanksgiving. If it makes you feel better. But you should keep them to yourself.

Your lies pick the pockets of your fellow Americans and people all over the world are getting hurt by your lies.

So stop lying.
