Is Hunter Biden a "failson"? Maybe? I am not sure he meets the definition just because Joe Biden was not rich when Hunter was growing up. But, Joe was a Senator so you could make a good argument. It is just a question of semantics and definition. And if you want to call Hunter a "failson", go ahead.
The difference is that Joe Biden doesn't "surround himself" with them. Hunter is not part of Joe's campaign. They do not have any business ventures together that I know of. I have not and would not vote for Hunter Biden for office, and I don't feel that voting for Joe gets me Hunter as "part of the package".
On the other hand, with Republicans you get the whole nepotistic clan. Eric and Jr. are running the business. The RNC is BUYING Jr.'s BOOK in bulk to jack up his ratings. Ivanka and Jared are involved in policy in the White House. When you voted for Trump, YOU were voting for ALL the "failsons", because for conservatives nepotism is apparently the preferred way of operating.
So, is Hunter "as bad" (or possibly worse) than the Trump "failsons"? Sure... I will grant you that. But, does Joe Biden "surround himself" with "failsons" in his business and/or political life the way Trump does. No.
I don't judge people based upon who they are related to (and the actions of those they are related to). But, I DO judge people based upon how they act in relation to other people (including the ones they are related to) and for who they CHOOSE to associate with in their professional life.
