"Bill Barr has grossly mischaracterized and subverted the findings of the IG investigation report... "

- attorneys from the conservative group Checks & Balances

Even some conservative attnys know a rwing spin master when they see one.

Too bad some of our conservatives here, looking at you, Heffy, don't know the same.

True American conservatives will always hate monarchists.

Good grief even conservative lawyers look down on Trump and his cronies?

"Good grief even conservative lawyers look down on Trump and his cronies?"

Yes, and even Barr sounds less and less convincing as he turns himself into a pretzel to justify his scummy client. Barr will be lucky if he doesn't get dis-barred for being a co-conspirator. There was a time (not long ago) when Barr was respected among his peers. But not any more. Sometimes it's hard to understand why a sworn officer of the court goes to the dark side and throws his life down the drain like this.

Barr must see some reward for him at the end. Some place where principals are a liability instead of an asset . . . some place Trumpish.

Come to think of it, Trump is going to need a good lawyer when he falls into the clutches of New York's district attornies. That would be a bed perfectly feathered for a "former" Attorney General.

And don't mention Giuliani. He has more baggage than Barr and New York knows him too well.

"There was a time (not long ago) when Barr was respected among his peers."

Not since he told Bush Sr. to pardon all the Iran Contra conspirators. Barr has been considered despicable scum for decades.

I watched the Barr NBC interview. He was absolutely spot-on.

This is just an attempt to preemptively discredit the Durham investigation.

#7 Spot on. All of the other posters on this thread are completely clueless about what is going on. This is a big deal that every American should hope gets exposed, people go to jail and the process gets fixed. The Dems are putting a good spin on it though saying yes the process is flawed but not those who flawed the process. The report has proven otherwise and Comey, Brennon and many in the media have either been blatently wrong or have blatently lied for the last three years.

So a bunch of conservative and libertarian attorneys are just closeted Democrats trying to get ahead of the rigged report?

Jesus Christ you've gone full stupid. Like zero to Mackris in 2.3 seconds.

No, we're not.

We're well aware that we've seen how the sausage is made and that the right's narrative is the big, steaming pile of BS that we knew it to be.

And that the right itself is the big, steaming pile of schit we've known it to be as they shift goal posts to act as if they've been right all along while the report blows every single claim they made out of the water.

The report has proven otherwise and Comey, Brennon and many in the media have either been blatently wrong or have blatently lied for the last three years.

When you muster even a peep of criticism of our liar in chief you'll have the credibility to worry about lying.

Until then, GFY schitheap.

3 years down the road since Trump became President thereby giving his team access to all the FBI/CIA files and after a watchdog group already investigated but found nothing to suggest "spying" or anything illegal, you think Durham is going to find something incredible?

Good luck with that. Want to re-open Benghazi for a fifth time too?

I'm trying to understand whether Jeff has always been this partisan and gullible and i just didn't notice it before, or if this is a new thing with him.

Odd how quiet this thread is while the threads about Trump's personal appeaser, Bill Barr, are teeming with righties.

- Odd how quiet this thread is

The talking points on how this conservative legal group's excoriating Barr for being a political Trump sycophant rather than doing his job as AG are apparently slow in being distributed.

You are a little late to the game. It has already been proven that Page was spied on and the warrant that was used to do it was optained through multiple errors. The question now is whether those errors were due to incompetence or politics. Too many errors to be incompetence.

The question now is how much more do you have to lie to make your lies true in your own schitheap mind?

"Spied"

You love that word don't you? It sounds so evil, doesn't it. Like strange men in trench coats and dark sunglasses stuff. Hats pulled down low. Peaking around corners. Binoculars in unmarked black cars.

But there's a difference in your use of the word and legally authorized surveillance.

I'll let somebody else diagnose your obtuse problem.

Ok, we will stop using the word spy and use surveilled because there is a big difference. Kind of like did he take a crap or did he take a ---.

I'm so happy that JeffJ has finally come out of the closet wearing his MAGAt hat and American flag jorts. He's put up a good front as a moderate/reasonable Trumpublican while somehow ALWAYS coming down on the side of or giving the benefit of the doubt to Combover Quisling. Jeff, you're Drumpf support has been as poorly kept of a secret as Lindsey Graham's homosexuality.

I'm kind of flattered to be in the heads of so many people.

While I don't live In his head, JPW is living in denial regarding the IG report. He appears to still believe, as does Sycophant, apparently, that the Page FISA warrants were properly obtained.
