Philip Bump : His avalanche of tweets. [I]t should not be considered a coincidence that Trump is tweeting so much in this moment, as the House Judiciary Committee is finalizing articles of impeachment against him.

He's a tweetin' fool:

Shortly after the sun came up on Thursday, President Trump was tweeting. Over the next three hours, he tweeted or retweeted other people 89 times, making it one of his most active days on Twitter since he announced his presidential candidacy in 2015. But he was far from done; by 2 p.m., he'd tacked on 20 more tweets and retweets.

Nine of the tweets came in the first half an hour after noon, when Trump was scheduled to be receiving his intelligence briefing.

Impeachment is making Trump eat his liver. Impeachment erodes his sick ego like acid. His thoughts are full of hate and revenge.

must be nice to not have any work to do.

You guys DO realize that you're going to be doing this whining and hating for four more years, don't you?

This country deserves four more years of Trump.

I don't know if Trump is worried about impeachment, I seriously doubt it. Every witness they brought out in the hearings was not much of a witness. Sorry but interpretation, inference and rumor aren't evidence. I doubt this mess will even hit the floor of the senate.

I know that 40 odd Democrat Reps are. Those who's districts voted for Trump in the previous election. I think the Republicans will gain a majority in the 2020 election.

" Every witness they brought out in the hearings was not much of a witness."

Yeah...all they had was that EVIDENCE, and PROOF, and CORROBORATION.

I mean, it's not like Trump, Mulvaney, Guilliani, and Sondland all ADMITTED to it, or that TAYLOR, VINDMAN, YOVANOVITCH, and HILL all came forward UNDER OATH and told the exact same story about Trump withholding Congressionally-approved aid until an ally at war came out with a lie AGAINST TRUMP'S POLITICAL OPPONENT.

Oh, wait...that's exactly what happened. How did you miss all that?

Remember when Trump said that we would win so much that people will ask him to stop winning? Well, that is the Democrat traitors in a nutshell...you losers want a recession, you want us to lose the China trade war, you want North Korea to stand up to Trump....you traitors should have kept your word and left the US after the election.

It's amazing to me the palpable the anger is on the left over Trump's Ukraine calll yet these very same people will downplay and even defend what Horowitz uncovered which is FAR worse.

- what Horowitz uncovered which

Which has absolutely nothing other than inane whataboutism to do with Trump's "drug deal".

You mean the Purple Heart winner and the dedicated career diplomats... and even your former hero John Bolton who called this a, "drug deal" publically?

Trump tweeted or retweeted people 90 TIMES before NOON.

What else is the orange lard barge supposed to do while he's grunting out a couple of fifteen-flushers?

1) Trump has been cooking stats to make his economy seem much better than it is. I'm afraid if there's a recession Trump will get credit for it, just like he claims credit when things go well.

2) Trump's handling of his trade wars has been ham-fisted and self-destructive. It wasn't enough that he considers farmers to be losers; he had to take active steps to make sure they lost.

3) North Korea from the very start has treated Donald Trump alternately like a paid whore or a piece of excrement stuck on their shoe.

With complete sincerity I state that if impeaching Donald Trump makes IRA the Russian this angry then it must be the right thing to do.

Sure you do. Trump thinks about nothing else besides that and Little Greta.

Donald Trump is the worst president this country has ever had because he is the worst man to be elected president. Impeachment is worthwhile if only to show future generations that some of us knew that.

I feel your pain. It's amazing to me the palpable lack of anger or concern on the right over Trump's repeated attempts to obstruct justice, as documented in the Mueller report, which most on the right ignore, downplay or defend even though what Mueller uncovered in that regard was FAR worse than anything in Horowitz's report.

You thought the 2018 midterms would be good for your (R)tarded party too and look how that turned out. Wishful thinking on your part.

ya think? seriously, have you ever seen a multi billionare go to prison?

seriously, he'll buy the prison and put in wall to wall carpet and a pool table.... probably turn it into a hotel and golf course and make money off of it...

yep the next two trump landslides are good look mighty good...

trump 2020
trump 2024

the democrats will be as dead as disco....

Of course Trump is worried.

No one wants that big "I" stamped on his photp-ops in an election year.

Dems won't overlook that opportunity.

I plan travel around and post that photo on every bulletin board I can find in the State of Florida.

PEGASUS

"seriously, he'll buy the prison and put in wall to wall carpet and a pool table.... probably turn it into a hotel and golf course and make money off of it..."

But all his sources for loans have gone south. Maybe Saudi Arabia has some loose change laying around. He hasn't screwed them over yet.

Otherwise, Club Fed is halfway there already.

Gained seats in the Senate and lost fewer in the House than the last president did in his first mid-term...What's to complain about?

Perhaps losing the majority and control?
