Paul Krugman: The real revelation has been the utter depravity of the Republican Party. Essentially every elected or appointed official in that party has chosen to defend Trump by buying into crazy, debunked conspiracy theories.

Always-wrong Paul Krugman, the house economist of the DNC, has such a miserable forecasting record he decided to switch to a field in which he has even less expertise.

Remember when Krugman said on election night that the American economy was going to go into a major tailspin? Boy that guy's is an economic genius. You still trot this guy out as somebody who knows something? Lol

It's nice how the comments underscore Krugman's point.

Yeah, he said the market would crash and never recover. An even worse prediction of his was that the internet would be no more important than the fax machine. He's a dope.

Don't they though? Nothing of substance, just slaughter the source by a troll that is the most prolific poster accusing people of.... slaughtering the source.

How, exactly, self-unaware can one troll be?

gloom doom and taxes pretty much explains the democrat party... they have been predicting the end of the planet since the early 60's....

yet somehow we are still here....

now with the elections all you hear is orange man bad...

stereo typing sure, racist, positively but to impeach someone because you hate him?

now dat don't make no sense....

but then again the trump hate virus has no cure.

Bwahahahahaha. The Retort Queen of Slaughter the Source accuses someone else of using the only arrow in his tiny quiver.

Paul Krugman has been wrong on everything he predicted for the last 4 years.

If this Krugman guy is so far off base why do people still pay him and publish his articles?

On another note why do y'all even bother coming here and trying to undermine those with WAY more viable contributions to society than you'll ever make?

No KUNG-FU sounds necessary.

Because Democrats thrive on misery. Krugman has been so wrong but so has CNN and MSNBC and that hasn't stopped Dems from watching them (although they are tanking) GOPers come to sites like this just to see how stupid the spin is.

What a disappointment. I thought this was an article about the Chinese Communist Party.

Or Burning Man.

I think most of us have already seen the Dems fashioning this theme but now it's in a major publication so I guess it's official. It was only a matter of time before Dems became so distraught with their own failures that they now have to blame the GOP for climate change. It's no longer man-made, it's Republican made. Forget that we had 8 years of a party that claims they care about climate change and implemented some good changes yet greenhouse gases became worse every year. Those types of facts just aren't convenient for Dems, I guess. This is one of the first things I'd actually like to take a poll on to find out how many Dems actually agree with this person, or if they are smart enough to understand climate change (and almost every topic with negative aspects) are the fault of ALL of us and not just a group of people because they have a different opinion.

"On another note why do y'all even bother coming here and trying to undermine those with WAY more viable contributions to society than you'll ever make?"

What is your standard? A person who makes minimum wage but works multiple jobs to support his/her family and doesn't resort to crime provides a fantastic contribution to our society...is that person doing something more viable? Or do you have to be someone who has their opinions documented in a biased news column to be someone making viable contributions? Chances are, anyone posting on this site is a person who contributes to society in a way that people like you scoff at because the day-to-day tedium of a lower or middle class person is seen as "lesser than" when it comes to articles of an opinion that you agree with and someone else doesn't. Keep your hate and bigotry off this board.
