The House of Representatives is on the brink of making President Trump the third president in U.S. history to be impeached. It will likely be a deeply divided vote, too, as no Republicans voted in favor of either of the two articles of impeachment approved by the House Judiciary Committee last week.

"57 percent of Americans now think he committed an impeachable offense, compared with 56 percent in mid-November"

The magic number is 60%. Get as high as that and the Republican Senate will start peeling away from Trump.

just yesterday jeffyjtoecentrelawyer claimed the American people are not yet swayed

and one thing jeffyjtoecentrelawyer knows and that's what is the minds of the American people, and the Chinese, and everything about constitution, and the "founders" and economics, and the law, and OBAMA.

The $1,400,000,000,000 deficit should be enough to throw this bum out.... and they have the balls to call it a great economy.

We had record tax income last quarter, that's record tax income. Spending is the problem, always will and always has been. Trump is partly to blame for this by caving to the Democrats who have never had a problem with over spending. So excuse me if I brush aside your faux outrage.

So if everyone wants Trump impeached why not just vote him out in November?

#5 Everyone knows the malapportioned Senate will acquit Trump; it's worth it to give Republicans a permanent record of being -------- for a criminal.

"We had record tax income last quarter"

Only when you use Republican Math, the kind where you'd flunk out of an Econ 101 midterm.

Try it again using percentage of GDP.

#5 Because Trump is
trying to manipulate the election by getting a foriegn power to announce investigations into his rival... he is abusing his power for personal gain.
It's all over news..were ya been?

While he accepts foreign interference in our elections?

And you can't see the folly in that?

And it's ok with you that Trumpy thinks he is above the law?

Sorry Comrade. This is America. WE elect our presidents. Not Moscow.

And. This is not Russia.

Here no one is above the law.

We had record tax income last quarter

Which makes the size of your deficit even less excusable.

Why are Republicans so stupid?

According to the link below, the US is ALMOST back up to the tax revenue collected in Q2 of 2015. That would be BEFORE the massive tax cuts of 2018, BEFORE President Trump was elected and it's not even adjusted for inflation.

Let's not forget that that "tax income" now includes tariffs, collected from hardworking Americans when the price goes up on a foreign-made good.

Most Americans believe there is enough evidence to impeach. Some of us believe there is enough evidence to convict and remove from office. Trump is a disgrace who will haunt the GOP for decades to come.

Which if true would literally show the GOP throwing a tantrum. The Clinton impeachment didn't cause retaliatory impeachments each term. Go ahead and show how childish you can be.

Because they think education is "liberal indoctrination", so they avoid it. They also don't like thinking. Feeling and believing and following the leader are much easier. Thinking apparently makes their heads hurt.

Go for it. Keep our politicians honest. Getting elected SHOULD NOT be about personal gain.

"So if everyone wants Trump impeached why not just vote him out in November?"

Because we allowed the last 4 Republican Presidents to slide by on their crimes "for the good of the nation" which just empowered Trump to believe he could slide by too. Had we carried out the proper punishments for Nixon it is probable that the later Republican Predents would have thought twice before they committed their treasons and other crimes. We have to insist on enforcing the law for all President from now on so that none can think they are above the law.

So if everyone wants Trump impeached why not just vote him out in November?

Because Trump has openly solicited the help of multiple foreign governments to investigate one of his domestic political opponents, the same one who polls as most likely to be the Democrats' nominee against him in November.

So the answer to Trump trying to cheat through the illegal use of foreign influence is to allow him to cheat, and then call the results of that contest fair?

Of course not.

Republicans are driven by greed, anger, fear and spite.

Given the acquisition of gullibility in recent years with their decent down the conspiracy theory rabbit hole and you have the above but dangerously untethered from reality.
