Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News

A Justice Department inquiry launched more than two years ago to mollify conservatives clamoring for more investigations of Hillary Clinton has effectively ended with no tangible results, and current and former law enforcement officials said they never expected the effort to produce much of anything.

This can't be right. Maybe Barr will get Durham to open up a new Clinton investigation.

The rwingers in Congress tried and failed to take her down for 11 hours on TV... now their Justice Dept says, "Er, same. We got nuthin'".

The Dull Mattress Coalition of HDS Suffers will be along to tell us how the NEXT investigation will get her for sure!

Now what?:

QAnon links US Attorney with thousands of sealed indictments decimating the Deep State

In a July 1 post, QAnon referred to the latest count of over 40,000 sealed indictments filed in U.S. Federal District Criminal Courts since October 30, 2017, and linked these to prosecutions being led by the U.S. Attorney for Utah, John Huber. Attorney General Jeff Sessions appointed Huber back on November 13, 2017 to work with the Department of Justice's Inspector General, Michael Horowitz, in investigating a wide range of criminal and civil law violations by government employees brought up by Republican lawmakers.

If QAnon's claim is shown to be accurate, then such a large number of secret indictments will have the effect of removing corrupt Federal officials, which will decimate the Deep State and its power over the US political and financial system.

Gal_Tuesday I think I owe you an apology. I think you where just as much a victim as I was. We still can't find out out who was behind it it, but it was targeted. 11 viruses, three of which where keyboard loggers. At the height of TrumpGate.

In retrospect I think it had to be a prank. But hey, have your system cleaned professionally. All of them walked right through Windows Defender, MalWareBytes, etc....

Someone should figure out how much money was wasted investigating Hillary for all of these fake scandals, including Whitewater. I would venture to say that Republican hatred for the Clintons has probably been the most expensive campaign to pin a crime on other politicians without evidence of such a crime being committed. Yet, almost daily, I read some conservatives whining about how much has been "wasted" investigating the crime of the Trump administration which are actual, real crimes. Provable though our Senate "jury" has already annonced their verdict before hearing the case. I think it would have been smarter for them to have pretended to actually hear the case and then, after "careful deliberations" come to their verdict. AT least make it look like they were trying to be honest. As it is, they don't even try.

Because conservatives don't care. All they care about it "winning" and "pwning libs". They are so lost and used to losing that their whole political ego is centered around disrupting the other side (instead of trying to push forward their own agenda). Their ego is dependent on who LIBERALS are. Which, if you actually think about it, is really sad and depressing. At this point, conservatives could not exist without liberals (because they would no longer have any idea who they are). While liberals would carry on just fine if conservatives disappeared tomorrow.

And, that leaves no space for conservatives for bedrock foundations like morals and ethics. Liberals have those things. But, conservatives, having become essentially just an "anti-liberal", there is no logical place for those to fit.

Article is behind a paywall for me. If this is about her email server, never though there was much to that, nor do I think it was why most people voted against her. The "but her emails" meme was always a deflection from all her other flaws.

Well,

All I know is, if I had classified emails on a server, with the classified stickers on them, that was not secure and not in the governments control and with mandated federal security controls, I would be put in jail.

David Petraeus was prosecuted for it and got 2 years probation.

John Deutch was ready to plead to a misdemeanor compromise that involved no jail time before he was pardoned by President Clinton.

Sandy Berger got off with a fine.

Bryan Nishimura got off with a fine.

So, it seems most people actually don't go to jail for this. But keep at it with your "lock her up" fantasy - it's cute.

1. The USA who cleared her after looking into ALL the trumped up Clinton scandals such as the emails, the Clinton Foundation, and the sale of Uranium One, is a REPUBLICAN appointed to his position by Drumpf and to this investigation by REPUBLICAN AG Sessions. So, not exactly a DEEP STATER. Basically EVERY bit of wrongdoing that Combover Quisling accused HRC of was looked at during this investigation and this REPUBLICAN USA found NOTHING! Again, Drumpf should work at a movie theater, he is the world's biggest projectionist.

2. Reporting from the WH is that all kinds of Drumpf Regime people including Jared and Ivanka are using private email addresses so as to defeat FOIA requests. The hypocrisy among CULT45 is breathtaking! At least HRC was copying Huma in the emails so there was a record maintained at State.

Lol... We can all agree that conservative attacks on Hillary are made-up BS.

It is interesting. Even Trump's staunchest supporters will admit that he is a terrible human being. That he is just out for himself, he is a terrible president, and that he constantly lies. But, they justify it by saying that liberal politicians are just as bad ("they are all corrupt"). The thing is, in that you are by yourself. While basically everyone thinks that Trump is completely corrupt, only the half of the country biased against liberals think that liberal politicians are corrupt.

And the flip side is true as well. We can ALL agree that conservative attacks on Hillary are made-up BS. But you justify your lies and lack of morals or ethics by claiming that liberals do it too (two wrongs make a right?). But you are on your own again. Liberals do not think their attacks on Trump are unjustified or untrue. So, again, everyone knows that conservative attacks on Hillary were shameful politically charged lies, but only the (less than) half of the country biased towards Trump think the same of the attacks on Trump.

See the pattern here? Conservatives know they are --------. They just think it is OK because they believe EVERYONE is a scummy as they are (as I have alluded to in other posts, their ethics and morality are relative, completely dependent on someone else), mainly because they are inclined to see as scum anyone who disagrees with them.

I sleep like a baby at night, confident in my choices and convictions, knowing that I am not compromising those convictions in order to "win". I wonder whether conservatives can say the same thing, considering that they no longer HAVE any convictions.

Of course you do. And all the while ignoring that there was almost nothing selective or limited as to the scope of the GOP investigations into HRC. You are willfully blind to the fact that the GOP threw everything it possibly could find, and nothing stuck. NADA. When it comes to criminal activity, HRC is clean.

Never made it beyond E-1 huh?

Same reason that the 2 previous SoSs that did the same thing were not charged (Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice) were not charged. If what she did was so blatantly illegal - why hasn't the DOJ under Trump charged her? It's not like he doesn't micromanage them already on all things Hillary.

The republicans have been blowing smoke on the Clintons for 40 years. They have investigated every action taken within 500 miles of a Clinton and never found anything. All in an attempt to find anything they can to match up against their felonies and convictions to pretend that both side are corrupt.

I love the "deep stater" cry babies. if they are too stupid to figure out how life works then someone must be working againt them... because (put your favorite reason here).

Mostly white men feel this... even the one's that dress up like women. Its no surprise that Trumplethinskin is a narcissist... white male culture is inherently narcissistic. They just found themselves a big fat one to latch on to.

Trumplethinskin is leaving office in disgrace.

The Clinton's both left office at the top of their game... and are continuing their service. Its what democrat patriots do.

The world watched Hillary kick Trumplethinskin's ass 3 times on the debate stage... and she won the popular vote. Amazing things for the first woman considered a serious contender from a major party. Trumplethinskin was just shrewd is all... and his shrewd isn't playing out so well... in fact shrewed means the clowns are screwed.
