Impossible. Snowfalls are a thing of the past.

According to Dr David Viner, a senior research scientist at the climatic research unit (CRU) of the University of East Anglia, within a few years winter snowfall will become "a very rare and exciting event".

"Children just aren't going to know what snow is," he said.

It's been that way in many parts of the world, long before Greta Thunberg was born...

It surprises me how many people are unable to understand how funky, abnormal weather patterns, be they warmer or colder than normal, is indicative that on a global basis man made activity is screwing up weather patterns in unprecedented ways.

The article refers to the local british/uk weather only, and the title is not really representative of the work as a whole. The predictions are actually pretty bang on.

It surprises me when people like you Moder8 think that nature does anything with regularity, other than the seasons, which are governed by the sun.

It reminds me of the movie Prometheus. In that movie, when they are about to land on the alien planet, the captain of the ship asks one of the scientists where to land. They come on a runway created by aliens and the scientist says, "Go there, God doesnt build in straight lines. The more I think about that, the more he is right.

You liberals are stupid in thinking there is some type of baseline weather that nature has to hold to. It doesnt and it would be changing whether humans are here or not.

No, Boaz.
We simply believe there's a "baseline" nature has to hold to... in order for humans to continue to thrive.
We can't figure out why you don't think that too.
Please tell us why we're wrong.

Of course, for a more rounded understanding of what Dr. Viner actually said, you could have done a just a little objective research:

Could the fires in California and Australia put enough particulates in the air to affect the weather?

No.

But an erupting volcano could.
