Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News

Kathleen Parker: It's tough enough keeping count of the former Trump associates who've been indicted, convicted or imprisoned. With startling regularity, new names emerge on what seems a bottomless list of scoundrels and grifters. Trump has inflicted his own crude, self-aggrandizing pathologies on the nation, and he brought along a revolving cadre of sycophants and criminals to enable his delusional ambitions.

Parnas is but the latest. He was sent abroad to make an offer Zelensky presumably couldn't refuse, plausibly delivered with the finesse of a gangster " Giuliani-style if not Corleone-style.

If Parnas is going down, he apparently doesn't plan to be lonely. He has also implicated Attorney General William P. Barr and Vice President Pence, who, Parnas says, were both in the now-storied "loop." Both Barr and Pence deny it. And, of course, there's Giuliani, who has been tangled in his own web of weirdness for some time. Whatever legacy he once had as America's mayor following the 9/11 terrorist attacks, he has surrendered it to ego and a rapacious appetite for relevancy.

Whether Parnas will be invited to tell his tale under oath before the Senate seems doubtful, but he'll find plenty of company among his predecessors in the presidential purgatory he has now entered. In Trump's underworld, disloyalty is usually rewarded with some fresh new hell.

Well at least there's one still-identifying Republican who sees Trump and his henchmen for who they actually are. Maybe it will start a trend.

Kathleen Parker isn't exactly a liberal BTW.

Just another never-trumper, the only kind of "conservative" the Washington Post will publish. Next.

" Parker urged the 2016 Electoral College electors to be "unfaithful" to prevent Donald Trump from becoming President of the United States."

Demonstrates intelligence in spite of her Republican loyalty.

For you Trumpies let me tell you, Parker is an example of country before party while y'all are examples of party before country.

#6 are they really party before country? I think it is hateful, hypocritical, selfish and greedy agenda before all else.

Punish the right people
Subsidies for me
Virtue signal Christianity without following any of the teachings
Belief that soon they will be rich with trophy spouses

Follow anyone who promises to make the above happen.

Notice Nulli says nothing about the substance of the article, and doesn't even say he disagrees with Parker or that she is wrong. Instead, he chooses to merely sucks Trump's dick in public.

There's a solution to some of the sleaze Trump and his Toadies are trying to normalize.

Loudly and proudly refuse to let them lower your standards.

When you hear a kid say Well trump talks that way inform him that doesn't matter.

The WashPo pop-up:

We noticed you're
blocking ads

appears whether or not ads are being blocked. It's a new trick on the interwebs; detect the blocking of any script and hit 'em with ad blocking warnings.
So what I did was install the No-Script extension and disabled all scripts for WashPo. That way the pop-up doesn't work either.
If Washington Post would consolidate subscriptions across 50-100 other papers so I could have one subscription for all, that would work. But to have the brick and mortar subscription requirement because I disable scripts for stats and tracking is getting old.

#13Nothing homophobic about saying Nulli sucks Trump's dick. It's merely an accurate characterization of his (and your) fawning, servile defenses of Trump.

If youre not gonna stay on topic then ------ right off.

Seriously.

Discuss the article and the merits of the arguments put forth.

Ad hominem attacks against the author may work at your continuation school(s) but not here.

I reckon' I just call 'em like I sees 'em

I love it how you simply make schit up to justify your garbage worldview.

Makes me wonder if you actually earned the things you supposedly did or were just that guy who was shameless enough to swoop in when it was clear it would work and take more credit than you were due.

Is it? I think of Larry Flynt's plight and liberal view of it has been well documented.

He's a sleaze peddler.

I would go back to the 90's, and how sleazy behavior was glorified by leftist oriented people.

I haven't made any of it up... its there .. just google how leftist promoted sleazy people and behavior.

Alright. Fine.

I'll see your Larry Flynt and raise you the Catholic clergy.

Yep, that's the pinnacle of partisan hate. The hate has gotten so bad that now the party who isn't POTUS is blaming all corruption and political sleaziness on a guy who wasn't even born when it actually started. That is how bad politics have gotten.

"I haven't made any of it up... its there .. just google how leftist promoted sleazy people and behavior."

Just like how Dems gerrymandered so hard. And how they kept separating people into groups so they could make sure everyone is treated differently instead of being treated equal. It's a very valid point. Unfortunately, the GOP didn't see this behavior and say, "Hmmm, we should do something to make it better". All the GOP did was say, "Hold my beer!".
