Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Saturday, January 18, 2020

Federal immigration officials, after blaming the city's sanctuary policy for a 92-year-old woman's rape and murder, were blasted Tuesday by City Hall for using the tragedy to trumpet their immigration agenda. The NYPD ignored a federal request to turn over an undocumented Guyanese immigrant busted in November for assaulting his father, leaving the twisted suspect free to kill helpless nonagenarian Maria Fuentes six weeks later, charged Thomas Decker, field office director for the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement removal operations.

If the President has to prove his innocence in the new Democrat utopia, surely MrKahn deserves the same treatment? No?

Mr Khan has not been found guilty in a court and he has denied responsibility. What right does the government have to slander a resident by claiming a conviction when the man hasn't had a trial?

#15 | Posted by Scotty at 2020-01-19 04:14 PM | Reply | Newsworthy 1

The sobbing, sniffling suspect denied any part in the elderly woman's death during an exclusive Rikers Island interview with the Daily News.

So. Innocent until proven guilty no longer applies?

There's zero mention of rape in the story. But does accuse the suspect of strangling the woman to death.

Doesn't seem like he was caught red handed. According to the article, he was turned in by his brother. His prior arrest was for attacking his father with a mug.

Quick! Rush to judgement!!

Thank god this guy is being arrested. I'm sure now that he's no longer on the streets, all crime in America will end.

Anyone think to ask why was a 92 year old woman walking the streets at midnight looking for returnable bottles and cans in order to make a few bucks?:

Khan, 21, remains jailed on Rikers Island in last week's savage and deadly assault on Fuertes as the helpless old Queens resident scavenged for returnable bottles and cans to collect a few extra dollars. . . . Six weeks later, he was on the Queens streets at the same time that Fuertes was walking through Richmond Hills shortly after midnight on Jan. 6.

Gem? The underlying premise of the question is, "She was asking for it." It's the go-to of rape apologists - she was wearing a tight mini-skirt, therefore she was asking to be raped.

Probably why she was having so much difficulty finding recyclable bottles and cans.

Also.

I like how so much is know about nonagenarian Maria Fuentes. The 92 year old who had to collect bottles and cans at midnight in order to survive.

Yesterday republicans hated her for being a poor, possibly homeless person, who may have been collecting food stamps and welfare.

Today. They love her. Because an illegal immigrant possibly killed her.

(Also. Maria Fuentes sounds like a immigrant's name. Are we sure we care about her? If her name was Sara Miller I could see being upset.)

Correct. My point, however, is to wonder why more people didn't care about her before she got raped and murdered? Why was a 92 year old woman out at midnight on a cold, snowy January night looking for returnables?
