We will believe the apology once the images have been restored to their original photo accuracy, and have replaced the fake news shots.

Till then, the apology is all mealymouthed bull-crud.

I read here, from people who know, that this didn't happen.

I wonder why they apologized for something that they didn't do and that didn't happen.

"Museum officials removed the photo from the display and said they would replace it with an unaltered version "as soon as possible.""

By "as soon as possible" they probably mean after Trump leaves office. Jobs are on the line here, people.

They alter images at the archive. They are images at the weather service. They alter reality for Trump everywhere.

I'm only surprised they didn't do it with a large black marker this time.

Yes.

Considering that they also censored the words (-------) and (kitty), I think this speaks to a larger issue. In America everyone is so ready and willing to be offended that knee-jerk paranoid reactions like this happen all the time.
The fact I have to use cutesy euphemisms in this post to please the censor-bot is perfect proof.
