I've been supporting small and medium sized business' accounting systems since the 80's and there has been one constant I've observed in nearly every company.
Every year come renewal time every company's insurance monthly premium goes up 5-10 percent which is higher than the standard cost of living or wages.
Mathematically that meant one thing I saw back then and knew would come.
Insurance squeeze. Employers, employees, the insured will find themselves exactly where we are today.
It's been a long time coming but it has arrived.
How to fix it? I don't know.
But I do know waiting on the health care industry to do something is futile.
The government has a responsibility to all of us to use it's power to address this problem without becoming part of the problem.
We need the government to find solutions only it can implement without actually becoming overly involved.
Time to rethink the rule books and toss out what isn't working and work around whoever doesn't want to help.
We need ideas that benefit all people and not just the uninsured.
All legal Americans deserve for the American government to create a fair health care system for them.
Politicians...do something that works for all.
